Just For Fun

I think I have had some really good trades (not forum. in the realm games) compared to the time i played (about 2 years). So if you will please put some of the good trades you've had.
mine are:
my isenhart sword for a IK armor
My Shael rune for G angel armor AND HOZ
My lidless for a Shako
My full arctics for an Occy
My Mav bow for Tals Ammy
My 17%nagelring for a Gul rune (although Gul is worth crap in NL, i consider it a really good trade because of the below)
My Gul rune for Skuller, Chancies, Wartravs, Goldwrap, Ali baba, 40%MF ammy, 1 30%Nagelring, and 1 Ravenfrost. I'm not sure if I also got my sandstorm in the same trade....
Tell me some of yours

Isenharts for ikarmor man thats nice.

my best would have to be homonculus for a 120/45 bone visage, a 80/30 giant skull, perf fire facet eschutas and fire faceted shako. Needless to say I was pleased.

my um for someone's 193% hoz in useast ladder during this August...

ya i got flamed buy other ppl after the trade..

kinda felt srry for the guy but a trade is a trade and he agreed to it.

I forgot i also had traded the followings
My 4 Pgems 4 fire faceted Occy^^
And oh my gosh my Homunculus... I traded it for Full Nats+Bartuc+and omg a coh archon plate...i could tell he was a newbie by the way he taked. he had obviously gotten assn stuff from his friend but maybe felt like making a necro instead.
i also got really close to trading my Peasant Crown for Arachnid, but the guy was in act1 and i was in act5, and when i tried to get to a1 by wp, i got disconnected from the game as it often does. i'm so mad...

I neva do public trades anymore, coz of all the duped items. (just trade with friends)

sounz like I should be doing them though with all the bargains u guys get!

Let me know if u still have items after the next rust storm....

right now only a lot of high runes are duped.

very rarely r unique duped

A long time ago, I once traded a Bartuc for a Fire Skiller 3X Life...
And right after that, I traded the skiller for Doombringer :bonk: !
We all had our noobs days... :xmad: !

Except for Gul for Nagelring, all your trades were major rip-offs. You made a profit from other people's lack of experience. Maybe we all get greedy from time to time, but you even seem to be proud of it.

I'm playing for more than 2 years now and I don't regard myself a saint, but I never made even a single trade of that kind. In fact, I normally give the stuff away for free which you are daring to ask high-end stuff for. It didn't happen to you just once, it happened 7 times to you. That's no coincidene. Are you perhaps actively seeking opportunities like that ?

What kind of conclusion is to be drawn from that ? Probably that it's a good idea not to trade with you. People like you make the TCs the place that it is now.

the other day i bought 10 ele gc's with my 10 shadow gc

sold the ele for 13 runes

bought another 10 shadow for 4 runes

9 hi rune profit

krischan- Not sure why you're going off on rice-farmer. If someone offered those items for trade for something else they wanted, then it's a fair trade. Someone recently gave me a zod for magefist just because he was rich (duper probably) and didn't feel like looking for one....and hell ya I was happy with that! Besides I'm sure we've all made bad trades and hopefully have learned from them...you learn fast when you get stung. And what's so bad about accepting a really really good offer...it's not like rice-farmer forced them to do it...it was their choice. And "fair" market price only equates to how much someone wants something...so what's the problem with the seller making some profit...cuz I don't see one....

Meeting somebody who pays Zod for Magefists is not that probable. That might happen once, but not seven times.

Your argument that the others haven't been forced to accept the trade does not meet my point. You are talking about the victim, I am talking about the committer (correct word ?). Sure, the victim will learn from that and he should have been more cautious, so he has to live with the loss. On the other hand, that's not a justification for others.

As a comparison, lets's assume somebody robs you because you forgot to lock the door. Sure, it's your own fault and the insurance probably won't pay a cent and you even learned something (lock the door !). However, that's not a justification for others to go into your house and rob you. Perhaps the thief won't get such a hard punishment because it has been made so easy for him, but anyway, he stole your property and he has to be punished. I'm not saying that what rice_Farmer did is like stealing, of course.

Ripping off people in such a massive way for the profit or for "educational purposes" is immoral IMO, no matter if you exploit their poverty, weakness or lack of knowledge or experience or whatever. I know that it's normal to abuse others in that way in the TC (and in the real world as well) and it might even be legal, but IMO it's despisable.

You are right, I for myself have no problem with people like these because I'm generally cautious with respect to trades involving items I don't know their value of. I'm just having a problem with those guys ripping off others and showing off with that in these forums. That's just my own, personal opinion, of course.

I'm actually amazed you said that. What the hell?!

It wasn't probably a duper - it was most defiantly a duper. You knew that, I would have knew it etc. Noone trades a zod in any legit way for magefist - heck some people have played for 3 years and not even got a Jah/Ber. What you fail to see is that your trade just then has ENCOURAGED the use of duping. It has made the dupers realise that 'hey - they can find people who are in a way just like them.'

Sorry to rant - but I'm angry and also laughing at your comment. Infact - if i was you i'd keep away from the trading area altogether - you admitted to trading with people who had duped runes because you only thought about yourself and the profit you'll gain - thats the thing with some people - its all greed and not the thought of helping the whole community.

/Rant off. Now I will laugh myself to sleep ¬¬

AMEN. I agree 100%.

You know, I really get sick of these boasting threads like best find, best trade, best etc. Really pathetic.

If you lack such a life that you find these amusing, for god's sake keep it to yourself instead of showing what you are to the world.

Man I'd like to see more threads about great games, or great fights or anything like that. Would be so much more fun to read.

<<No, I don't feel bad about trying to hijack this thread, it richly deserves it.>>

Best fight I ever had was a level 45 barbarian and a level 40 or so boner against NM Ancients. Jsut two of us in the game, and we were a bit worried going in (Not a RL pal of mine, we just met up by chance) So, we start off, fighting and generally having a tough time. Doing running around to let potions take effect, trying to tank, running around to let mana reserves build up. All ofthat.

And then one of the baddies went down, then two.

But we were out of potions bythen and almost out of life. But, we were both still alive, and had not had any chance to rebuild potion stocks.

And all three life bars went lower and lower. First time in my life I was glad to have an angelic ring for the regenration. amn, it was slow, but it was something. Running around letting mana and life regenerate without a potion in sight. And then coming in for a few whacks when the life bar was high enough.

After about ten minutes the dude was dead. What a relief, and by far the best fight I have ever had in Diablo.

How about anyone else? And don't start with PK stories or how yourlevel 99 corc stomped a spike rat in blood moor in normal. A real fight, against real opponents.
