I have run mephisto over 800 times in the last days (not on christmas eve, but today, too, because our relatives don't visit us before tomorrow, so there wasn't anything to do...) trying to find marrowwalks. However, I hoped for some other items to drop, too: A highlords wrath, tal rasha's adjucation, herald of zakarum... No success. BUT there was another item, I have forgotten:

Wooooow! This was totally wierd... I started running mephisto at 0 o'clock and only powerful items dropped! I stayed with him until now, meaning I have run him for almost 4 hours this night. He neither dropped the marrowwalks he should drop, nor the tal's ammy/highlords/herald. :teeth: But it was DEFINITELY worth it: I found my first bul-kathos wedding band, my first reapers toll, my first guardian angel (two!!! ! ! !) and plenty of other nice stuff I already had or where you can't have enough from. Also much grail items. Woah, totally insane.... I doubt I will get such a chance again soon...

Sad that it's over, but now I have a chance to get some sleep! :D AH! I have it: It's because it's christmas!!! Merry christmas!! :xgift:

I just can't accept it, because I do the seffound grail, eh... But hunting for those marrowwalks has obviously a great side-effect... ^^ I actually had stopped running mephisto, because I thought that the list of items he could drop me was already very short. I was in fault, but now I know that it's awfully small. I think there aren't items it is worth running him for. Only things like stormlash, arcaine's valor and so on. I could better move on to pindle (i have run him and found nice things) or rather something else (baal? dunno, something else than pindle, because it's so boring... ^^), but those stupid boots...
 
Pindle is horribly boring and hasn't given me anything good since he dropped my eaglehorn some weeks back. But when he decides to drop something useful it's usually really nice.
