Is Tyrael Armor junk?

On plain math base, the tyrael's might seems to be bad when compared to CoH or similar runeword.

Is this near legendary drop really usefull?

It's rarity is much higher than it's uses, that's for sure.

But I've used it on a merc for WSK runs with one of my builds, and really liked it... the resists are an obvious plus, and the CBF isn't bad. A little extra strength, damage and FRW won't hurt your feelings either. But the big one was the RIP mod - the build I was using it with had consistent problems with Dolls so it was great for letting the merc tank & kill them, and not needing to worry about an Unraveller later resurrecting a Doll or two that my merc had already run away from. It was nice during the 2nd wave too, where I'd focus on the Unravellers and the merc could clear out half of the skeleton mages and they wouldn't get resurrected.

I would think that you could stick it on a merc during Nihlathak runs too. Tyrael's Merc + Natures Peace on the character = no more corpse explosion.

I found one (the third unique sacred armor I found) and I like it on my javazon's merc.

also I like the no str required to use it. I would like to try an enchantress with it. Problem is, I never found one

For merc its a perfect armor. res/str/dmg/cbf/doesnt resurrect NO REQ

Still Stone/Fortitude is better and runs in same/lower price catagory...?

Better, but not in the same price category. Tyraels armor is, with the expections of rare/perfects/crafted one of the most expensive things you can have. A collectors item simply.

yes, Tyraels armour is junk.

it's only known decent use is as merc armour on a Nihlathak runner.

Not even close to junk but, its not cost effective and its not the best option.

Mine is self-found, I wouldnt call it junk . It looks awesome in baal runs on my barb, all blue lol.
