Is there any use for Flawless gems besides this?

I searched in AS and I found this two recipes:

3 Flawless Gems + 1 Magic Weapon = Socketed Magic Weapon

2 Lo Runes + 1 Flawless Topaz = Sur Rune
2 Sur Runes + 1 Flawless Amethyst = Ber Rune
2 Ber Runes + 1 Flawless Sapphire = Jah Rune
2 Jah Runes + 1 Flawless Ruby = Cham Rune
2 Cham Runes + 1 Flawless Emerald = Zod Rune

Besides this two recipes, is there any use for them? Because I was keeping about 50% of the Flawless that I find (cubbed up the other 50%) but... it seems that there's no reason to save that many.

Thanks for any input! :)

juz save 1 of each type juz in case..cube the rest 2 pgems.use the pgems to craft/reroll/socket=)

They could potentially be useful if you were making a level 15-17 Low Level Dueler, but you wouldn't really need more then 1 or 2 of each in this case either.

Edit: so yeah, like Hrus said, their main use is making them into Pgems.

Of course I keep them :p

I was keeping 50% of them as Flawless and cubing up the 50% remaining as Perfect Gems (to craft, re-roll, trade), but today I figured out that there's no real reason to keep more than a couple of Flawless Gems in my stash. But before cube them all, I asked for some advice to be sure :p

Thanks all!

Yeah, but you really need to keep a couple of dozen flawless emeralds around to cube your Chams into Zods!

I usually don't cube flawless Amethysts because I like to throw them to my progressing characters and wait for Gem shrines. You can never have enough perfect Amethysts... But besides that, they all end up being perfect in the great Gem stash.

Flawless amethysts are the only ones that I would consider keeping, considering how useless Surs are compared to the rest of those runes (and conversely, how useful Bers would be, if I had any  ). But yeah, I just cube them all up anyway.

Cube all of them.

If you want to use the socketing recipe, then unless the weapon you're using has a qlvl less than 30 it'll be cheaper to use 3 chipped gems instead.

Rune upgrades... by the time you get up to Lo runes it'll be quicker to run cows/LK/pretty much anywhere for the required flawless gem than it will be for another one or two runes to drop.

Might as well get some use out of the flawless gem instead in the meantime, is my two pennies.

I quoted those recipes because I won't use them anytime soon. My highest rune so far it's a Mal, so I won't be cubing up any high rune :p

The point was if I won't be using those recipes, why should I keep my flawless gems?

Sorry for my grammar, I'm sure I expressed myself wrong :/

Aside from cubing them to perfect and then re-rolling grand charms for skillers as previously mentioned, you could cube them up and then use them for crafting. I especially like the amethyst and the rubies for caster and blood items. The caster items will help out a sorc or necro in a pinch for mana regenrate and other mods.

You missed this recipe:
3 Perfect Gems (of any type) + 1 Magic Item = 1 New Random Magic Item of the Same Type

(This is the charm reroll recipe which hrus already mentioned.)
