Inventory Manager Recommendation?

I am tired of spending time searching my mules for things, and wondering whether there is anything that can read and log my inventory, but won't inject any files into the game and get me banned. Does such a program exist? Or would a program like that automatically qualify as a forbidden program, subject to banning?

Thanks.

Re: Inventory Manager Recommendation?

for sp you can use atma

for bnet, use the screenshot button

Don't think you're allowed to ask a question like this here.

What would be the reason for that? I am not asking for any hacks; I am asking if there is a useful way to manage my inventory that doesn't involve a hack.

Re: Inventory Manager Recommendation?

Write things down.

Actually that's what I tend to do, but I move things around and then I lose track. I had an Excel spreadsheet at one time, but same thing. One thing that helps is that now I keep specific items on specific mules. For instance, one only has runes on it, and that way I know where to go if I am looking for a rune.

But mainly I just wanted to know if there were easier ways of managing inventories. The screenshots suggestion is helpful, but not for looking for specific rings or amulets.

Thanks.

Or just keep one mule, like me ;) Alternatively, name your mules for what you are storing on them, and you have an extremely explicit sorting process, so only unique weapons on one for example, unique armors on the other, runeworded weapons on one, runeworded armors on another. That way you always know where and how to look, even without any Excel spreadsheets. Question is if you find having that many mules is managable, but that's different. But the more explicit uses they got, the easier to find what you are looking for.

Re: Inventory Manager Recommendation?

Someone on these forums made such a program (or some thingamajic, not sure if it was a program exactly) not too long ago iirc. The mods' stance was that it wasn't a hack because of some technicality. Could be that I misremember and it was for sp or smth, but I seem to remember thinking "Great! I'll use that next Ladder!". Ofc then the patch got delayed and I forgot all about that program. :coffee:

If I remember right, it would read screenshots based on the color of the text and make a text file; they were still tweaking it when I stopped reading the thread and never found it again.

In the Diablo Files section, just above the community forums is a program called Adria, by Kijya, its a Inventory Management System, its in the 4.0 version iirc. This may be what you want.

That looks perfect! Thanks.

I have been trading a lot lately, and it has been a real pain searching for items while trying to avoid a temp ban. That looks like it might do the trick.

I retract my previous statement. :whistling: Adria looks pretty damn good. I wish I knew about it back when I still played Ladder.
