Interesting CTA stats

I made a CTA tonight and the stats showed it as 3BO. I then gave it to a friend and on when he has it it shows 6BO. Anybody know why this is? Is he getting a 6BO?

You made it on a barb. Barbs can only get a max benefit of +3 Bo from cta, thus that's the max you see.

Well I'm assuming when you say that it shows he has a lvl 6 BO, that you're talking about the skill icon, not the actually cta viewed in the weapon slot of the character. This being said, the reason is that your friends gear has "+1/2/3 to all skills." For example, my hdins cta is only a lvl 2 bo, but when select to BO, it's a lvl 11 BO because of the + to all skill gear I use. I hope that makes sense/helps.

edit: if you did what others said above, ignore my post. Your post was kind of vague in explaining the scenario.

No i am a pally. and passed it to a sorc. I was looking at the weapon on my screen and on his screen. The stats on the weapon change. I can post screen shots later if you want me too.

and you're positive it is the same cta not just the same type of wpn right? because, if you are a paladin, the stats should be the same as they are for your friend. They're only "different" if you are a barb in which case even a 6 bo looks like a 3 one.

I understand that the BO will be different for a barb, and I am looking at the same weapon its the only one we have. Ill try and have screen shots posted today sometime.

Ok so I am officially a dumbass, and I want apologize for wasting everyones time. My main, and only real, character is a pally, but the mule with runes on it is a barb. I made it on the mule and gave it to the sorc. I have the same stats as the sorc with my pally.

For example!

I mule traded a 5/6/4 (iirc) CTA to another member of these forums. He had put payment on the mule, and I collected and put the CTA on the mule. A little while later I get a 'WTF?' PM saying CTA was a 3/3/3. I could not figure it out, figured someone had hijacked the mule and replaced it with a lower CTA (unlikely...). Then I remembered the mule was a Barb....
