incredable lag spikes? just me or everyone?

has anyone else experienced these spikes? lately i've been getting them, everywhere and nothing in common except me being there - but it reminds me of the old dupe lag, tho everyone gets tossed now

might there be another *sigh* lag dupe method?

or is there something up with my isp?

i'v been haveing some connection issuse lately.. huge lag for few moments and games seems to fail more often (even if your not running too fast)

final blow anyone? :kiss:

I wouldn't say they've been incredible spikes, but I've experienced a good number of them. The type that spike for a while and I can't do anything, then all of a sudden the game shifts into hyper mode and everything goes super fast for a little while.



 
well glad to know it's not "Just me" but in this case i'd prefer not to have misery company!

i'd be most likely to point at dupers first, but then it could be something as odd as somone running something on the server, to somone spilling coffee on the, or any number of things

i would just like it to stop, hard to play with a matouring char when it does this! (died a ton of times though it all today :( )
 
Ya, it's been bad for me on the East...Yesterday it go so bad that i had to restart my D2 twice. It would lag for a looooonnnggg time and then eventually everything went black. Only thing for me to do was shut down the game and restart!! Luckily when it happened both times i was in town so i didn't die!!!
 
Same deal on Europe, I logged in a few hours ago, last time was almost a full day ago, first thing I do is make a game, I keep getting failed to join.

So I wait an hour orso, I try again, I play for about 20 minutes in one game, then connection interrupt for no reason and can't enter games again.

Last few days have been buggered...
 
ive been steering clear of hc play lately because of the lag spikes.my scl characters survive but im not too confident about my untwinked hc passive zon :laugh:
 
I've had them all yesterday and the day before, then I realized that it wasn't Battle.net but that was causing it but a new (big) update from Windows.
 
yup, iv been getting huge lag spikes and occational ci's when playing on sc europe
sux when you make a new game and char is near death along with merc
 
yeah ive been haveing the same problem almost every game. there is a 30 second lag spike then it returns completely to normal. 10 minutes later...another lag spike. 30 minutes later another lag spike, and so on.
 
Yep, I've noticed as well. The moment I do, I save and exit. I can't afford to die, seeing as how I play HC mostly now.

I'll admit though, its quite funny to watch your merc go into hyper mode and slaughter everything really fast after the spike.

Sigh... I don't want to have to go back to SC due to potential lag deaths.
 
yea lately wow for it on uswest im getting tossed from every game and 20 min in and i have to restart... and then just an hour or so ago everyone on us west got restricted from going on bnet for like 30 min... very strange
 
I've been experiencing a lot of huge slow downs too. The up part is I'm normally on my summoner so I have little to worry about in the area of dying while lagged out. And yes, I am lagging with only 3-5 minions out so it very much isn't just me.
 
Yesterday I experienced this.

First off around noon, I had connection interrupted every 40 seconds. I could create or join a game, then after exactly 40 seconds C/I.

It passed, but then at night, it kept telling me "Failed to join". Whenever I created or tried to join a game. I just couldn't get in game.
Then I gave up and went to bed.

Stupid Diablo.
