Dutifully sets the courses given by krazeyivan as they are spoken.

[highlight]Greetings ladies, gentlemen, mechanicals, bioforms and other unnamed variants. This is a friendly warning that if the following people do not post and participate, they will be put out the airlock (modkilled) at the close of this day (24 hours and 5 minutes give or take):

Thyiad
Outside The Whale.

I'm most surprised by Thyiad's prolonged silence. Something doesn't feel right about it, especially if you consider that as a moderator she's likely to be present around these here forums fairly consistently.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Emphasis on pertinent, zhao. Your vote is unimportant specifically because of your claim to push for the fourth poster's lynch, whoever they may be. If you must know my questioning of Ankeli "knowing" your vote isn't final gave me a slight suspicion that you two might be aligned, so I decided to ask about it. I found his response valid enough not to push it any further for now.

Backing off yet again? You being even more non-confrontational makes me more suspicious.

I don't find Spud as suspicious because I believe him to be Data, a cyborg from The Next Generation.

Outside, Thyiad and Hey do not make my list because at the rate they're going they will be mod-killed for being inactive.

Way to paint a target on Spud's head. Data, being a pivotal character in TNG series is most likely a power role. Not good Mara, not good.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

My silence has been mostly my head-scratching at the mystifying posts of the two people repeating new codes over and over. Obviously, I feel bound to try to solve them. I don't see many posts actually moving anything forward, so I am hesitant to opine without hard facts or new information.

I'm not sure what I'm under suspicion of, but just like any good episode, I will try to figure out some part of what happened before I end up like the unnamed guy that beams down with Spock, Kirk, and Bones.

I'm guilty as charged of low post count however. This is my first game and it's pretty bizarre if you've never played. Getting my feet wet and catching on as I can. /salute.

The only hard facts we'll see publicly are that which gorny tells us. Staying under the radar and not contributing does not help the town in the slightest. Your under suspicion for staying under the radar and out of sight, which is something mafia members are fond of. The less attention they get the better chances they have at staying alive.

I know for a fact that Thyiad has a new job and has been spending more and more time AFK, but I can only allow inactivity for so long in a game of this size. However I do think that Thy will turn up as she did advise me that she would be around today (Wednesday).

We'll wait and see.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I will keep my head above radar then. Besides, someone has to enter all these headings krazy is spewing out.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

So you're saying I shouldn't back off from the idea that you and ankeli are aligned somehow?

I want information to keep flowing. If you have a suspicion, then lay it out so we can dissect it.

I'm already suspicious of you, so I want you to keep talking so I can try determine who you borg friends are.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Hey! I have an idea. Do you think that Krazey's posts may be references to post numbers?

Please enlighten all of us of your suspicions of me then. You want me to keep talking about me, here's your chance.

In the meantime I think I'll try and get a better understand of Krazey's role if you don't mind. Krazey, is there any way to get you talking normally? 2 posts in a row for no, 3 for yes.

I thought of that too, Asrrin, but couldn't find any pattern. His last post of 360:160, for example - post 360 was one of his own cryptic posts. One of his other posts was for course 000:000 - hard to see how that's a reference to a post number. Maybe there's a message there, but I'm not seeing it.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

No, I've thought about post numbers, dates, the post numbers of the people preceding his posts, and various other things.

It would really suck to find out it's just random. I love codes.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Zarni, did you visit my link to the star trek cartography? I think that may have something to do with it because the number format is similar.
