Which one you would choose ?

My personal favorite for a Bowazon would be Famine, in Grand Matron with +3 Skills (only Axes/Hammers) :

Fal + Ohm + Ort + Jah

+30% Increased Attack Speed
+320-370% Enhanced Damage (varies)
Ignore Target's Defense
Adds 180-200 Magic Damage
Adds 50-200 Fire Damage
Adds 51-250 Lightning Damage
Adds 50-200 Cold Damage
12% Life Stolen Per Hit
Prevent Monster Heal
+10 To Strength

And for a Lightning Spearazon definitely Crescent Moon :

Shael + Um + Tir

10% Chance To Cast Level 17 Chain Lightning On Striking
7% Chance To Cast Level 13 Static Field On Striking
+20% Increased Attack Speed
+180-220% Enhanced Damage (varies)
Ignore Target's Defense
-35% To Enemy Lightning Resistance

Do you think Zon would be overpowered if these would be available for a Bow or Spear ?



It would be also nice if GA, MS and Strafe would be synergized as well ), so you either get more DMG, IAS, AR or number of arrows from synergies )) !!!

I bet Bowazon would be very interesting to play even PVP !!!

I would love to see Crescent Moon on a bow. I can just picture Static going off left and right from a fast Strafe. On top of casting static, it has ITD like the Eaglehorn & Widowmaker. That would be just too cool. Beast would be insane to have, so much speed.

So it's not just me that thinks there's is way to few rws for bows? I mean the best one is botd..415 ed is ok but for 8fps bow u can get a much better.
I would like blizz to make some rws for 4-5 socket bows..(matri/diamond/ward)but that will probably never happen...

Yep, as we see, seems Zons are really not favorite characters when we talk about rune-words or cubing. I mean, look - most favorized items in both ways are Polearms (just look Elite ones like Reapers or Boneheaw, not to mention Doom...) and Axes (Femine, Beast...). So not even for spears we cant have special designed rune word. Look at Chaos for Assa Claws - that one really made change in Sin builds as we have WW sins now everywhere.

Why we cant see bows in crafting recipees at least ? True, we can try to make Spear from Safe recipee but the mods arent that much impresive.

There should be also bow crafting recipee with some interesting but not overpowered mods, just to make game more interesting, for example :

- Knock Back
- 20 IAS
- 2 pct chance to cast Lower Resist on striking (yep it exists, Pusspiter XBow has that mode), or chance to cast Decipify (from Reapers Toll)

To have these 3 as guaranteed and possibility in ED, Leech, more IAS would make game also more interesting as people would go to search for crafting bows (Pits, Cows...).

If we can get new runewords for Zon in way of Chaos for Assasins or a crafting possibility, I guarantee that not only there would be more Bowazons in game but there would be also more Rogue Merceneries as well . I also think that game would become mor interesting as we can see new builds around. (New builds from recent time are WW Sins and Wolf-Barbs due Wulfhowl helm).

I mean, Blizzard even didnt let us have 6 socket in Grand Matron, as it was previously planed to be !

Also does anyone know why arrows/bolts are not automatically refilled when we go to repair our stuff ? Javelins are filled in, but why not arrows ? Its annoying when you need to sell that 50 arrows u have and then buy back 350, instead to be repaired at once.

I took a look at the runewords for bow yesterday when I found a 5 socketed superior matriarch bow with +1 bow skills (sadly it wasn't +3 bow skills). What I found was most runewords are for melee weapons there were about 4 that worked in a bow Call to Arms was the coolest of them.

Anyone have a call to arms bow?
