I need help with my wind druid gear

k hi guys i have wind druid im having a hard time with what items im going to get for my wind druid so far i have these items ..

Perf Jalals um'd
Mp Enigma
Perfect hoto
Stormshield with hel
Perfect spider belt
10fcr 19str 7ll ring
Soj ring
Amulet : 3 elemental 10fcr
Gloves : Trang ouls
15-14 Treks

Help me out plz
 
Is this mainly just for pvm or pvp that you need info on?
 
I don't see any problems with that gear.. i have worse and i'm still doing fine..
So no probs with the gear dude ^^
 
hmmm its looks like your fhr might be low id try too at least hit the 99% fhr for when wielding flails , swords etc
 
As @Kiba say the 99% FHR Bp is very helpful to reach, atleast you should aim for 63% Bp, which it doesn't appear as you hit (my calc. yours 50%FHR..?)
A possibility would be to get some FHR charms or change the Um in your headgear with shael. IMO elemental resistance isn't really important to a wind-druid (make sure to recast cyclone.)
 
I just recently swapped 4 of my ele life gc's with ele fhr gc's too hit the 153 fhr with dagger weapons , and so far its workin wonders vs trappers and such.

now only problem is gettin a 2/18fcr druid ammy for the 163 fcr breakpoint.

by the way this is a pvp chara



 
I use 99fhr breakpoint for pvp. I think hitting 152 is not that necessary. I prefer to work on my tactics rather than loose my precious life bonus I get from ele lifers for fhr ;)
 
Perf Jalals um'd- lmao please no either 08valk and if u cant afford then shako trust me
Mp Enigma- good
Perfect hoto- its ideal but spirit sword much better with 2skill and fhr which is needed in druids
Stormshield with hel- again spirit shield this time fcr+fhr very useful

Soj ring-just use another fcr ring +1 skill isnt gonna do much and make sure the fcr ring has 90+ar
Amulet : 3 elemental 10fcr- cool
Gloves : Trang ouls-yep :D

and dont forget the torch anni and 9 ele gcs plus 20 lifers or 10 scs of whatever u like.

Did you make this a max block wind druid , im assumin you did because your usin ss?
 
You shouldn't just stick to one and only one setup.

As PvP is highly item dependant, you should swap gear according to the opponents. No point in having max res and 152% FHR if you're up against a Melee build, but on the other hand, you gotta have 75% block and 50% DR in that case, which in it turn is useless in other types of duels.
Don't neglect the power of a Wizardspike, if you need resist ever. Also, why Stormshiel with Hel in it, when you can get -Req jewels with a second mod?

Ideally, you're going to have your stash full of items to swap. Thundergods for absorbing lightning, that fire resist amulet if you need it. Both Jalal's and Shako have it's uses in duels and the reasons are quite obvious. Carry both and use them when needed.

Shako - lot's of life and 10% DR. Usually paired with Stormshield for Block and %DR.
Jalal's - FHR and Res is what it's about basically. When you need resistance, you are more than likely NOT going to need block and %DR so ditch the Stormshield for Lidless Wall or Spirit or what you might like.

Use both at the right time. And did you get the unique charms? They rock, basically.

Kind of a side note, how come the Spirit Keeper helm never gets mentioned for windies (albiet only ladder ones)? - it has a possible +2 elemental skills, 20 fhr, fire resist, + max poison resist, and dual absorbs (lightning and cold). Or is it not worth giving up the resists, stats and extra fhr from Jalal's?
 
If you can get a Crown of ages yes i would replace the storm with a 35% fcr monarch , has nice dr , fhr and little res too boot.

Why go for DR when you don't have 75% block in the first place? There are not may unblockable physical attacks out there. (I assume that you dont' want to invest in Dex to the point that gets you 75% block with Spirit)

It's very painful for a windy to reach the reqs of CoA. Not worth it imo.

Coa works nice vs other ele druids for the dr and the fhr is a bonus.

With a non block spirit druids its a must have vs some character's in pub duel games.

It nice for vs smiters and ele druids and its still reduces the physical damage taken by other physical damage and arrows.

Even if you basically have no block the dr% really does help take off some of the damage taken.

edit~* it isnt too hard too get the str needed for it if you get the right gear ,
I have 32 bast str and i can use mine with nigma , 17stat anni , 20stat torch, treks, 5stat mara , 2 x fcr , str rings
