Guided Arrows don't pierce anymore, as of patch 1.1x. Not under any circumstances. Guided Arrow = No Pierce.
I guess by "pierce them" you mean "how to damage sorcs using chiling armor + energy shield with guided arrows?

Oh thx that is really hopeless for a bowzon since most of the slots are occupied by the items required to hit 95 ias (7fps for 13 fat gmb )perhaps Gore instead of Wartravel and tons of pscs..
however, does anyone know how exactly chillin armor works? how or when does it deflect a guide arrow ?
It doesn't actually "reflect" it. It only shoots an Ice Bolt in the direction, where the Guided Arrow came from, so Chilling Armor does nothing against Bowazon.
You could always try prebuffing Venom with Treachery armor.

you could also always have a very high OW item on switch, fire a couple of arrows and switch quickly before the arrows hit and the OW will be applied to the arrows. Atleast it works with curses so i presume it works with OW too.
pson charms also work, if you load up on poison charms you'll be surprised how well it works (brings back memories of 1.09...).
