D2 How to make D2 lod 1.14b widescreen?

Is it some way to play Diablo 2 in widescreen?
Im using win10.

Yeh, that's the way I did it. There is a hi-res mod but to be honest it changes things as the viewing area is increased so it doesn't really play like it should do as you can see more on screen.

That youtube video above just stretches the 4:3 aspect ratio to what ever your monitor is, ie 16:9 or for me, 21:9.
Makes it a stretched mess.

@Spankeh Yeh it does stretch it which is not ideal but it's the closest you can get without having a load of other stuff loaded in if you want to play vanilla.

Just put cardboard down the sides of your monitor.
