It's great for resists in duelling at that level I'd say. Laugh off anything a level 12 sorc can hit you with.

Yeah it's a good shield considering the low lvl.

Great resistances. Nice for a low lvl PvP Pally.

Poke 3 holes in it and make Ancient's Pledge... Then you REALLY have some nice res for relatively low level.

I must admit that my first reaction was "Hey, how stupid is that?", but frankly I haven't thought about the possibility of low level dueling. I play HC exclusively though, I don't like dueling that much, so that might have something to do with it.

I'll make an Ancient Pledge out of it and have a kickass low level shield.

3 Regular diamonds would keep the level req at 12 and give you 65% res all. Jolly good show!

It has already one socket (so no RalOrtTal possible) but 33 resist all at level 3 is really good.

Ancients pledge is a level 21 item I think.

I think if you socket it in nm or hell youll get 4 socket.

A level 18 dueller could have 110% resists with perfect diamonds!

While a level 12 could have 77%

socketing in norm, nm, or hell makes no difference to the number of sockets. it's the level of the monster that dropped the item that makes a difference. seeing as you have +34res all, i would assume that this dropped in late nm or hell and so you shouldn't be worried, you're almost guaranteed the max number of sockets (4?). in which case you're better off with regular diamonds like someone suggested to tank against low level sorcs and trapsins. 'cause most LLDs are trapsins anyways, using charged bolt.

I've recently started building a low level PK'er in HC and found these. Not much for resistances, but with about 14 XX max jewels stuck in all the various holes, they'll do nicely.

LLDs are better off socketing with damage modifying jewels. that's why LLD jewels are in such demand. LLDS aim for few-hit PKs, not worrying much about defense or resists...
