How much life on small charm?

How much life can I get on small charm? I got vita charm with 20 life.
How much can then be on grand charm of vita? 3x more?

For sc max is 20
For GC max is 45 (only Baal, Nilathak and Diablo in Hell difficulty can drop GCs with this suffix)

To be more exact, all grand charms can have life, but only baal/diablo/nilathak can have over 40. The best life charms are small charms, but grands can offer a nice combination of life & mana, like 40life/55mana gc as with a small charm, maximum mana is 17 on them. So 20life/17mana small charms are viable too, but extremely expensive.

agreed, you want small charms, with a total combination of 30 or more points on them ( say 18 life, 12 mana ) these are very valuable I dont usually waste my time with grand charms unless they are skillers with +35 life (or more) or +30 mana (or more).

ill take a good skiller with 41-45 life over a 20/17 sc anyday. now i am not saying the 20/17 arent good id love to have some perfect 1s. i do have some close to perfs like 19/17 is my best i think, nl west sc

sure 20life small charms are good, but its when thay have a 2nd mod that really makes them stand out, like resist, both 11% types and 5 all resist types, mana, and the high elemental dmg mods that too come from hell diablo baal nighlathak like the 41-45life gcs

Hmm I reckon both are nice I only use grand charms with Skillers, if they arent skillers they are never as good as 3x maxed out small charms with the same stats.

I forgot about the resy all ones, very useful if your gear is lacking in Resy

Well yeah.. But realistically speaking, not everyone can afford a Skiller with that much life or a near-perf life/mana sc. Especially if he or she plays ladder. So I'd take anything that has more than 25 life/mana per inventory space, when I'm picky I raise that value to 30. I think my best grand charm on last ladder season was a 34life/58mana one. Sc's with second mods apart from life are very useful, true..

Btw.. Skillers can't have mana, as a skill tree and mana are both prefixes

Anyway, in pvm having something like 10 skillers with life or 3/20/20's or 20/17's is pretty much useless. One can do without them pretty easily. Pvp-wise, they are almost a necessity.
