How do you equip 2 Khalim's flails?

This is kind of a noob question I know, but how do you equip 2 khalim's flails on the same character? Is it still possible? Generally a character can only hold 1 copy of a unique quest item.

Thanks for any input

Maybe flails from various difficulties? Just a guess, though; I've never heard about anyone carrying two Khalim's Flails.

It may be possible, but the result would be kinda pointless;

Sometimes in a party you might end up keeping your flail after another player has used his to open the Durance. I suppose you could keep it all the way up to Nightmare (and later Hell) Act 3 so you could have both. Though keep in mind that if you drop the one that should have been used by that point, you can't pick it up again.

So you'll either be leveling up normally (and thus outgrow the need for it long before you can get the second) or getting rushed (which is usually followed by power-leveling, thus also removing the need for it).

EDIT: Oh, and it may be possible in Singleplayer through use of ATMA, though I'm not sure.

I tried to hold two wirt's legs from different modes, nightmare/normal, but the game won't let you.

Back in 1.09 I remember a friend who would put 2 of them on a lvl 1. I could be remembering incorrectly, or it may have all changed in 1.1.

At anyrate if anyone knows anything let me know. Thanks for the input thus far.

Interesting. Have you seen someone do it or something?

I don't think that works, as you're still holding one. However, I wonder if you'd be able to pick up multiple if they've been transmuted into hand axes...

Does that recipe work with quest items?

think so. Not sure which it is.... I think it's upgrading a normal unique weapon. It can be done to the horadric staff, khalim's flail, and hellforge hammer if memory serves... all turn into unique handaxes of the appropriate type.

Remind me again why anyone would want 2 khalims flails in the first place?

I dont think you could do that. I remember that I had a soulstone from normal and I couldn't pick up the nm one. The name of the normal one appeared red in nm and I couldn't use it to complete the hf quest. So I tossed it on the ground and talked to Tyrael to give me a nm one.

You may only hold one of any particular type of quest item, regardless of difficulty. Wirt's Leg is considered a quest item as the Moo Moo Farm is a quest (killing the Cow King completes it, not allowing you to open the portal again). Though you can socket the Leg, and I've heard it can be imbued (it has the properties of a standard non-superior item), I've tried runewording it unsuccessfully with Malice. Khalim's Flail/Eye/Brain/Heart and his Will are considered the same item, as far as the quest goes. I know of no legitimate way to bend the rules code to allow this.
