Hidden Sets?

A friend of mine was recently telling me that in the 1.10 patch Blizzard included some "hidden sets". One of the ones I can remember him mentioning was Honor runeword weapon + Chains of Honor + some helm that I really dont remember. He said that if all 3 were together they would give you an extra set of abilities, just like if you had a full set on. Is this true or was he joking with me? I kinda think the latter, but I could be wrong.

There are no hidden sets.

Some sets, Trang Oul's especially (or only?) have hidden attributes, but it's still a real set displayed in green

it gives ur necro the skill fire ball and meteor but they dont really do that much dmg.

actually thats not really the hidden part thats called the normal part. the stuff thats added to a specific item (take the -poison resist on the shield of trangs) is the hidden properties displayed when you wield that item plus a certain number of other peices of the same set. read arreat summit to c what all the sets do pitboss and rey.

OK, after looking at some other forums, it appears that the feature he was talking about was a planned addition that didnt make it into the patch.

I think he means hidden item bonuses

such as Tals Belt

if you wear it by itself then u get :

Requirements -20%
37% Damage Taken Goes To Mana
+30 To Mana
+20 To Dexterity
10-15% Better Chance Of Magic Items

Wear one other item and it adds on

+60 Defense

Wear another item and it adds

+10% Faster Cast Rate


Put the whole set on then u get these bonuses
+3 To Sorceress Skill Levels
Replenish Life +10
65% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Items
25% Faster Hit Recovery
+150 To Life
All Resistances +50
+50 Defense vs. Missile
+150 Defense
Display Aura
