Help with Uber

I'm not all that new to D2, but no one will help me with, or at least explain how i can kill Ubers. All I've heard is go through the portal, nothing more. If you could help I would appreciate it. :listen: Thank you!

In short, you need smite, ~50% crushing blow, lifetap and (versus Ãœber Meph) 125% more resists than you need to reach 75% (except for poison res), as well as 75% blocking. You can probably live with a little less resists and crushing blow, but it will involve more dying then.

You don't need to. You can make a successful Uber Trist smiter using some pretty cheap stuff.

I don't think I'd want to make a Smiter if I were to make an Uber Trist runner, seeing as that's what everyone does.

You can also make a zealot and use his one-point smite. Or make a frenzy barb or kick assassin. A bit more expensive than the smiter, but still manageable.
