HELP Mouse Button 4

I have played d2 for years and have always been able to use my mouse buttons 4 & 5, i have currently not played for about 5 months and when i came back to the game my mouse buttons 4 & 5 do not work :xxx: , i tried remapping them, unmapping them, loading drivers / uninstalling drivers, nothing seems to work :banghead: . lmk what you think

What operating system do you use? In Windows 7 (and perhaps Vista), you need to run the game in compatibility mode (such as Windows XP SP3) to be able to map the mouse buttons.
