Hell chapter (p3) - Acts 1 to 3
After a Nightmare run through (Hurricane is really strong!), early Hell gives somehow... the same feeling. He keeps
finding some uniques and sometimes even
nice rares with his now unbelievably sky high 6MF, and this time Andy delivered some Druid piece with and essence - nice to have!
On act 2,
Radament's kill is posted as there was nothing of real interest afterwards, and stopped session at lvl 77.5, after "Reclaiming the Staff" (Themed evening with my druids ^^)
Next session brought me to act 4, so...
Stomping Duriel and Mephisto #WhoNeedsPots
Well i'm bragging a bit but some situations were not that easy to handle, and i had a REALLY close NDE!
The questing to Duriel granted me a somehow close to be nice
pair of rare boots, and nothing really much noteworthy, even Duriel's fight
went without a pot, so.... let's go to act 3.
Entered the Spider Forest
at lvl 79, and hit lvl 80 at the Flayer's dungeon when meeting
my first Hell Gem shrine... sadly i only had a Flawless Sapphire at that time, but well.
Then Lower Kurast and some unique i guess dropped me nice charms, being a Sharp GC of Maiming and a Russet of Good Luck
Council surprised me a bit, granting me one of my closest NDE ever...
It was under 10 before entering the Portal...
This was due to Ismail, who had to be taken separately and.... killed mostly thanks to Hurricane, waiting beside my meatshields -_-
Then
hit lvl 81 right before entering Durance lvl 2, and before Mephisto, a
set Death mask dropped (116 def roll).
Session ended with the kill of Mephisto and stepping in Act 4. I guess that with now 13MF, i couldn't hope for better drops...
Side note
For now i just find the current balance between Tornado and Hurricane working pretty well - Hurricane will take some time to handle immunes, but recasting meatshields is not the hardest task in the game...without Hurricane, it wouldn't be really doable, Tornado shines in open areas vs groups, but in tight places the random behaviour is almost impossible to handle properly.
Also, merc's weapon really shows his limits (Insight in an Eth Partizan). Sadly the only Threshers dropped with 4os are on Frida, and i got only two, still without a lvl 17 aura (lvl 16 best). So i'll keep upgrading hers until a lvl 17 pops before giving away the second Thresher (that will be a 16 one as a consequence, that should be enough). Will have a crafting session soon, have to check her available runes!
Edit: and
she did craft one! So her lvl 16 has been transferred to twinked HC characters, and Zorro's merc will use it on his next session
