Having Problems... Computer? or B-Net?

Ok its been a little over 24 hours now and im starting to get ticked. Im hitting a 7-20 Skip in the /fps menu thing and i cant figure out how to fix it. Ive defraged, disk cleaned, cleaned the CD, ran diablo with no other programs running, everything i can think of. Ran virus scan got nothing. I use cable high speed (Comcast) and ive started noticing that other things on my computer are starting to lag a little themselves... A friend told me that my hard-drive is begining to bite the dust or somthing like that :confused: . Can ne one give some insight into wuts going on with my diablo/comp?

Hmm, well thats odd. Maybe some system specs will help out a bit.
Your saying your droping in frames to much?
I guess the more info you can give the better we/I could help
 
Under the /fps command it reads: 2 Frames 13 skip Ping: (ranging) 40-300

When i enter a game it reads 0 on the skip and a very nice ping like 30-50 then as soon as i move it jumps to 6-15 skip and about 100-300 ping. Hope this helps a little.
 
i changed from uswest to europe, hoping to receive faster connection, but after the 1.11 patch came out, i lag randomly, its just sick. i bet its bnets fault
 
Interesting, now im not a expert on computers, i just use them in cg art :D

But it kind of sounds like your graphic card might be having a issue?
Try The other video option (not directdraw 3d, but the other option)
and see if that helps in performance any.

Also it couldnt hurt to go to your device manager and make sure your drivers are up to date and everything is in working order.

Lemme know what happens and if anyone else knows plz chip in :D
 
lol the video card thing was the exact thing that my friend told me (right before he said the worst it could be was my hard drive :( lol) Ill try the video option thing hopefully that will work. Thanks again guys for the response thus far.
