Has anyone noticed that us Druids get the shaft?
Heh, well, first off, hi all. This is my first post in the Druid forum (I think). I play Single Player, so you'll be able to find me there a lot more than here. And I play untwinked. Aren't I crazy?
Well, anyway, onto the subject of this thread.
Right now, I'm playing a Hunter Druid, and I'm cruising through Normal right now (I'm in Act III) and I got to thinking. Us Druids get the shaft in a lot of things.
-We only have two really useful skill trees (the Elemental Skill Tree may be fun, but it isn't good), as opposed to all the other classes (I can't think of a single other who has a bad skill tree), who have three useful trees.
-We only have one "Class Only"/Benefits us Item. Admittedly, a few other classes are like that as well (off the top of my head, the Barbarian, Assassin, and Druid are the classes like that).
Necromancers: Totems and Wands
Paladins: Sheilds and Scepters
Sorceresses: Globes and Staves
Amazon: Maiden Javalin and the Maiden Bow.
While these three neglected classes only get:
Druids: Pelts
Barbarians: Helms
Assassins: Claws
I mean, come on!
And finally, the Druid is the only one that doesn't get a 'special' speech from any of the NPCs (as far as my knowledge goes).
Necromancer: Gheed (though it isn't flattering).
Barbarian: Charsi (and maybe some guys in Act V? I can't remember).
Amazon: Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure here. Someone in Act I maybe?
Sorceress: Akara
Paladin: Fara
Assassin: Natalya
Druid:...no one.
Hello? What about our wonderful furry friends?
Heh, well, I hope you guys realize by now that I'm not really mad, but it is true. If someone could clarify the Amazon's 'special' speech, and whether or not the Barbarians and Assassins have more than just the Helms and Claws, respectively.
Add your reasons why the Druids got shafted,
