Hammerdin Max Block?

For me i alway max block if i am a paladin for zealot,smite,hammer.
Recently i got into a game and a person saying that only noob max block on a hammerdin saying it like a sorc that maxing vit.

Now i wonder what will you all say hammerdin max block or not

There is no reason for a hdin not to max block.

And because of Spirit hardly any sc pvm sorc goes MB.

I agree too, max block in a Hammerdin doesn't require much dex and even if you're a caster you're going to be in melee range most of the time

Max block with the right shield. If u weigh amt of dex u'd need with lets say ie. spirit sacred targe or hoz (factor in holy shield) vs the amount of extra life u'd get if had added that to vitality; conclusion = a few hundred life vs 75% block. Lets put it this way.. in a situation where that few hundred life woulda made a difference, u'd prolly still die without the 75% block.
When u telestomp masses(which u will do very often) in a situation where u're mobbed, 75% block will increase your survivability much more than that few extra hundred life.


Only situation u dont want max block is if you're pure vs casters, meaning u're a dueler and u only duel casters.

One more to Max Block.
I don't think many people will disagree with me when I say that Holy Shield is probably on the top of the list when it comes to imba defensive spells.

To be a Paladin of any sorts and not take advantage of that is just foolish.

I'm in agreement with Fade. Somewhat for BoS.
Not too sure about Oak though...I mean, life is important in the world of PvP, but I'm not sure it's as useful as people always make it out to be. As a general trend (that is, if we're not talking about Zealot wars or anything of that nature), I tend to think that the effectiveness of having tons of life levels off after about 2.5~3k health.

Oak's effect lasts only as long as the Oak itself... which in any dire situation isn't very long at all.
