Goodbye D2!!! Thanks to all!

3 years after I first discovered the game, it's time to say goodbye!

It was a great run, and a lot of fun. Finals week was last week, and I just moved home again... I'll be starting an internship this summer, and I won't have time for this game anymore... I'm gonna keep at least one account active, but I'm gonna give some stuff away, just so the temptation is reduced a little :thumbsup:

Thanks to everyone in this forum who helped me with all my noob questions...

Thanks to the mods for their work keeping up this forum and volunteering their time...they are definitely under-appreciated.

I'm still gonna check out the forums once in a while... at least that's the plan!

Anyone else know any good RPG's out right now? PS2 or PC? (without an internet connection?)

Radiata Stories (really fun :grin:, realtime battle)
Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana (sprites, turnbased battle)
Star Ocean - till the end of time (realtime battle)
Kingdom Hearts 1 - cant say I'm impressed with 2 so far...but different tastes ne?
Air - ehm.. you'll have to import these 3 - They're also available for PC though. There should be an Allages version of Air - not sure bout the other 2 tho.

Replaying ps1 games - legend of dragoon, chrono cross, ff7/8/9's also good for some amusement =)

Elder Scroll Oblivion looks good. I'm thinking about that myself.

Erm, em, Dragon Quest 8 too.
Tell me how Star Ocean is, I bought it without knowing anything about it because it was 15 bucks and I haven't played it yet.

Star Ocean is an absoultely AWESOME game. I can't stress to you exactly how good it is.

I've been a fan of star ocean since the super famicon and star ocean the second story is still my favorite game of all time.

Star Ocean till the end of time is a fantastic game, I just like the one for PS a smidgen more :cool:
 
Well... since it'll be for bg's benefit too, OT a bit i will go (forgive me, op =)).
So3's really really fun. It's Similar to So2, in battle style, but graphics are much better ;P
Realtime battle, enemies aren't random - they appear on the map and you can avoid / engage them. It's science fiction / space adventure rpg - would be the closest thing I could categorize it as.
It's really well done, in storyline, graphics, sound, and gameplay. Replay... soso for the beginning - a bit slow, but it's a fair sight better than some of the other rpg's replays.

quick link^, If you want to see some ingame shots. Careful though, might spoil it. I didnt look at any beyond the first page.

Well, SP RPGs eh? The elder scrolls 3 & 4 Morrowind and Oblivion.

Hmm, I've seen about 3 (4 with that one) come back threads in this past few days... There is no escape. We are all doomed..
