Gambling Tips

Since your suggestion, I’ve actually beefed up my MF pretty well. Initially it was just about 60% with Chance Guards / Goldwrap to a bit over 170% with same Goldwrap, but better Chance Guards, Stealskull, Gheed’s, and a Nagelring one point off from perfect (yesterday was a good day). All of which I found in the time since I last posted. I don’t have an Ist, but I’ll try putting a diamond in the Stealskull to get a bit closer to 200%.

I also blew through several million gold gambling and didn’t get a single unique amulet. I got a Seraph’s Hymn from in front of Andy though. I’m going to stop MF run today and focus on clearing my current level to 89 so it won’t be a particular painful loss if I slip up and die.

Did I thank you for all the advice yet? Thank you for all the advice. I appreciate it. I’m playing my favorite game again for the first time since probably high school and somehow doing even better than I did back then. And I’ve thought a lot of times about going to get stuff price checked, but I’m trying to reduce the number of times you guys have to say “Charsi food” per day. Trying to save it for relatively special occasions.

I am also gambling hard earned cash (on the online game when the servers work and when I can log in due to queues).

1) The list of available gambling items at Gheed's is based on your character level, so for example you will never see a Long War Bow on offer until your character is at/over level 27 ( item quality level 31 - 4 = 27 )

2) When you gamble you get roughly 55% Normal, 40% Exceptional and 5% Elite items.

For example a Hyperion Javelin (Elite) is quality level 54, my character is 75 (so we are OK for Elite), and rolling "Javelins" on Gheed and spending millions, produces 55% Normal, 41% Exceptional and 4.5% Elite, sample size 135 Javelins.

Similar experiment with Bone Helms and character level 95 this time gives 56% Bone Helms (Normal), 42% Grim Helm (Exceptional) and 2% Bone Visage (Elite), sample size 146 helms!

Question then:
The above data, even though small sample, seems to match between javelins and bone helms. Do monsters also roll in the same way? Do special monsters behave differently? Do monsters have loot tables as in WoW which only allows them to drop a subset of available items (not ilvl based but based on a hardcoded list)?

Actually, the chance for an upgrade to exceptional or elite depends on the character level and the base qlvl of the item when gambling.

Chance for upgrade to exceptional: (ilvl - base qlvl)*0.9% + 1%

Chance for upgrade to elite: (ilvl - base qlvl)*0.33% + 1%

I think the upgrade to elite is checked first.

ilvl is the item level which is a random number from charlevel-5 to charlevel+4 (so your character level comes into play here).

The base qlvl depends on the base item, e.g. a Stormshield's base is a monarch. It's not to be confused with the qlvl of set and unique items.

Armor and weapons are organized in tiers called treasure classes. Depending on the area level (or monster level in normal mode), each treasure class has a certain chance to be picked from when loot is determined. Those armors and weapons with a base qlvl of 1-3 are in armo3 respectively weap3, 4-6 goes into armo6/weap6 and so on. (I'm not 100% sure about the following) Also, I think that bows and maybe other weapons as well can appear in additional treasure classes, so e.g. bow-wielding monsters have a greater chance to drop them. Other stuff (rings, amulets, runes etc.) has their own treasure classes.

Understanding the treasure classes and how loot is determined is a great insight, especially for players looking to optimize their gear. While this info might not directly apply to 카지노사이트, it's still super useful for anyone diving into the world of loot hunting in games. Happy gaming and looting, everyone!
