Frostmaiden nightwing question

Hi I see that alot of people say to put a 15%ias jewel in a nightwing for a frostmaiden, but i checked on the weapon speed calculator and ill have 55%ias with that jewel and will have 2.2 attacks per second, but if i dont put in the jewel then ill have the same attack speed, should i just put a P cold facet inside it instead?

If the ias jewel doesn't bring anything good to you then definitely add a facet.

Also another question. right now i have 250 vitality for my frost maiden, should i add points in dexterity and energy? and if i should how much?

There's two different ways to build icemaidens either max dexterity or max vita, personally i prefer the max vita as my icemaiden uses an MB ice and therefore the physical damage gain would be pretty pathetic. I personally didn't add anything to my energy, with enough leech and + mana from equipment you should have more than enough.

I'm a bit dumb when it comes to class builds but, could somebody explain to me what a Frostmaiden is? Skills and basic game play of them would be nice, thanks. ^^

More dex is always good for any type of Bowazon.

250 Vit you should be able to survive ANYTHING as a Bowie.

My Frostmaiden so far has 50 base Vit at the end of NM (level 67). No dramas at all at surviving. Oh, and I'm using an upgraded Kuko Shakaku too... the oh-so-godly bow that it is... Just goes to show the value of Vitality on a Bowazon, when she has things like a Valk, Decoy and Merc to keep her attackers at bay.

As for points in Energy... Mana leech is your friend. Just up that physical damage of yours, and you'll be better off.

EDIT: A Frostmaiden is a Bowazon that uses Freezing Arrow as a main attack, and subsequently focuses on getting it to the best possible effectiveness. As a Bowazon, she also uses Strafe and Multishot in certain situations, mainly to leech mana for the next Freezing Arrow volley. Plenty of +Bow&Xbow skills are used to increase the number of Multishot and Strafe Arrows, so they can be kept as "1 point wonders".

Another question, where should i put the rest of my skill points? ive maxed out freezing arrow and cold arrow and have 1 point in all the right skills and enough points in valkyrie to get it to 17, but should i max out valkyrie? if not what passive and magic skills skill should i add points to? and im not ganna max strafe.

max penetrate for more AR, then get about 75% pierce, 65% critical, and 50/60/50 in d/a/e
rest goes to valk

bowzons always need a good reliable tank so maxing valkyrie is not a bad idea at all (at higher levels and with high d/a/e she is practically unkillable except when facing act bosses)

Ok thanks for the advice, just one more question, ive got more then enough points in her vitality(350-400ish) and she barely has any mana and only 3% mana leech, should i add like 50 points in energy?

i'm not surprised, you have way to much into vitality so naturally your physical damage will suffer as a consequence

don't put points into energy, get a good mana/dual leech rong instead

No-no! a thousand times no! (I love Dr Seuss) A zon gets only 1.5 mana per point into energy. You can get 75 mana out charms easily.

ok thanks, if i shouldnt add more into vitality or any in energy then where should i put points? dexterity?
