Fire Sin PvP questions

OK well i found this pretty awesome (godly?) fire sin claw:

Cunning Scissors Quhab of Carnage
3 traps
12 max dmg
2 WoF

and some eth firelizards (almost perf skill)(worth zoding if i go c/c?) and was wondering if i should go c/c or c/s with a um'd ss? and also does the fade skill provide dr? (heard it from someone need to check it out) and how many pts is best to be put into shadow master? (if its worth it) Looking forward to ur answers and suggestions and tips!

I don't PvP that much so I can't help with C/S vs C/C. But Fade does still provide 1% DR by its skill level when cast. So if you pre-buff with 2 X +3 Shadow Skill Claws, the Fade will reduce 6% more damage reduction. I do know that using Fade is done quite often.

It would also depend on your environment, who are you dueling? Are you using lots of MB which is really recommended with WoF.

Lots of Facets are very nice to reduce your opponents probably 95% or more Fire Resists.

Open Wounds if you can administer it with a Dragon Talon (it has pretty good Attack Ratiing without too many skill points) is a nice trick, since you'll have them stunlocked and Open Wounds Damage is unresistable.

You don't need to zod your eth claw because it will never lose durability unless you hit things with it.
Well if I remember correctly from other posts about eth hoto's..

I just bought a claw off anya:
+3 traps
+2 mind blast
+2 wake of fire

Nice claw. I've made a small fortune on the ladder shopping anya. It's amazing the time people waste doing rushes for the chance to get jacked on the hellforge when, with some gold, you can shop anya and make much more in the long run. I shopped a 2 assassin skill, 3 LS greater talon with 30 ias that got 2 sockets in the first ladder. I was able to finance everything I needed for my kicker short of 40+ life skill charms with what I made selling it.

And as we all know, facets dont work with traps. Except for fireblast and shockweb though.

well in this case the facets would not be use to increase the dmg of the traps but the effectiveness on the enemy the traps are pitted against. -5% to the enemy resistance (having like 4 or so of these would be well worth it IMO) Very true with the shopping on anya! im starting that again on my Hardcore Ladder account to get some goodies! :surprise:

New question though ive decided im going to mainly go c/s but i dont know which of my shields to use... I have a Um'd SS, a Lidless, or a Perf Monarch Sanc to choose from. Ne suggestions for me?

Well, as i guess this is for pvm, go with SS or sanctuary, though i would build my sanctuary in something with lower str req, like a trollnest or towershield.
