After a few trial runs with my Necromancer, I decided it would be better to run with my Meteorb Sorceress. We made it halfway to level 94 in spite of a few deaths. Those dolls are hard to see in the Throne Room!

In total I ran about 9 hours, and was hoping a buzzer beater on my last Baal kill, but the rune gods decided to taunt me again instead:


My only qualifier came about 4 hours in:


My first Jah. Now only the ever exclusive Zod remains to be found.

I was also able to cross off 5 unique items from my grail list:

First, thanks to @art_vandelay for hosting.

In short, good rune luck this time. 5 HRs in 20 hours (300-ish runs) is a bit better than my normal in CS (vs 80 runs for every Vex+ drop overall).

Two Jahs and Um directly from kills and/or drops in close proximity to opening last seal.

Cham, Jah, Vex, Gul, and Puls x 2 from alternative strategy.

The real good news is that I am very close to having the runes to complete the runeword grail. Working on optimal bases now by reviewing threads on the topic.

Congrats everyone! With all the dropouts I thought I had a good chance in the 3rd category, but phineas was right there too! I did the first 2.5 hours with my hammerdin, and he found no qualifiers. I then ran my untwinked 99er sorc the rest of the set, as well as 8 hours into a second set. The second set netted only a single vex. Went from 97.0 to 97.41. With these jah, ohm, vex drops, phoenix suddenly seems very achievable. So i think it's settled that I'll be going fire build for nihla runs at 98 unless a griffons magically appears. Need only an ohm OR Lo for phoenix now, and a sur OR ber for infinity.

However, just like an hour ago I dropped this, and actually gave a bigger "wooo" than the jah got

0 qualifiers is painful; but expected.

Exp wise, I started with 43mil shy of dinging lvl 98 and gained 16m over 12 hours of play - not 15 like I said in the running thread.
That equates to 1.33m/h or just one 20-hour set away for the next level.

Nice job everyone. My drops helped my RW Grail move along, but I didn't get a Jah / Ber that I really need.

@pharphis I guess it was just a joke? I wasn't sure what it meant either, but I don't think 1.07 was ran.

I only ran for a few hours. Dual seal CS runs. So in the end my third place isn't too bad, I guess .

I'd still rather be 4th with a Jah than 3rd with Gul Mal Pul Pul.

On the unique jewelry side I got BKWB (5%), Carrion Wind, HLW, Cat's Eye,two Rising Suns and a 145/15/37 Gheed's. (Sadly they don't get progressively better as you find more )

I have wifi and a little down time during our travels, so thought I'd add my results post before it's too out of date

As I told @art_vandelay in my results PM, these tourneys are a great setting to keep the XP runs going with the untwinked 99ers. I doubt that Quinta would have made as much progress before we left for vacation without the goal of finishing a 20-hour set here.

As for results, my untwinked 99er zon managed exactly 5 qualifiers from Nihl, with the Vex dropping in the last 5 minutes to salvage the set after a 15-hour dry spell with a Lo as the only other Vex+ drop (and the first qualifier within the first hour or so of the set). Shadow Dancers were the only real non-qualifier of note.

On either side of the 20-hour set were a Sur and a Jah, with the Sur coming during the last 1M XP before starting the mini-RFL set. So just slightly different timing on those drops would have tipped the balance, but it was not to be. Congrats to @Luhkoh on the win, and everyone for the nice shiny rocks! And thanks again to our host!
