Eth 5-sock sup decapitator? Anyone ever make Eternity?

I didnt know where else to post this so...

I found an etheral superior 5 socket decapitator axe in act 3 hell just a minute ago. Saw that it has the highest avg damage of any 2 handed axe so maybe a druid could use it... I noticed the only thing that would really work in it is Eternity. Does anyone even make that runeword?

I have absolutely no use for the item so I'm just gonna chuck it unless someone wants it. If so, post up and I'll get it to you.
 
Well, I would make an Eternity for my zons, but that's just me.

I would probably be lynched by everyone for doing that though.
 
I doubt anyone on the SP would ever make Eternity. It doesn't really do anything special enough to justify the usage of a Ber, Ist, or Sur over more useful runewords.

Amn + Ber + Ist + Sol + Sur

Ber is either going towards Beast or CoH, Ist for Delirium/Silence/etc, Sur for Bramble.
 
OMG. NEVER EVER MAKE A "ETERNITY"!!! IT HAS NO IAS, ITS USELESS!!! AND IT COSTS A SUR RUNE. OMG.

save that sur and upgrade it to ber. and make a beast! ;]

If you ever blew a Ber and Sur on Eternity, I'd have to book a flight to Singapore just to yell at you in person. Simply calling you a nub on the forums just wouldn't suffice. :p

Hellforge rushing to get Ber and Sur = many hours.

Make Eternity and get kabal and corax to fly over here to yell at me = worth it.

In the time it takes for you to HF rush Ber and Sur, I could easily make enough money to pay for round trip airfare to Singapore. Budget would be a little tight if I have to stop in Oz first to pick up nubrax, but I could save some money by stuffing him into a suitcase or something. :D
 
Why make Eternity when both Oath and Death are cheaper and better versions of the "indestructable without a Zod" runeword formula? Only reason I can see to do it is because you don't use the new runewords, but damn, Ber + Sur is taking refusal to download the mod to extreames! ;)

Not being able to MP/trade with 95% of the community is also a compelling reason not to switch to the RWM. Besides, why would anyone in the RWM use anything other than Grief as a melee weapon?

Hey, I was just being silly about the RW comment, my point was that they're expensive runes for something not particuarly good. I mean, your argument could also be used as to "why play single player instead of battle.net and not be able to MP/trade with 95% of the community". Obviously everyone has different levels of compelling, and by the act of playing single player, you've already said MP and trading isn't your number 1 priority. Since everyone has easy access to the battle.net runewords, I assume that people can use them, and those who choose not to are playing some variant, like people who play a barbarian who doesn't use the warcry tab or something. I respect that choice even if I don't really understand why one would want to make it.

Anyway, without doing the number crunching, I'd think either Death or Oath in an etheral weapon (which one to use would depend on the character) would be stronger than Grief, although admittedly harder to obtain.
 
The only reason I didn't make a eternity warpike for my fendzon is that there is no realistic way for me to hit an acceptable breakpoint, ends up using a steel pillar instead, works pretty well till got stuck in act 2 maggot lair (PI's).
 
It may not be end game material (unless you're untwinked), but what's wrong with Honor for a mid/mid-high level runeword in this axe? The runes are certainly a lot cheaper.
 
If a member of the silly braves.. one could make the eternity and erase it again for the chance of a indestructible eth decap, a super beast!?! Such a delicius weapon for the mighty druid!!

Is the chance for indestructible eth known in percentages??

Are you talking about the bug on 1.10 beta, and starting 1.10 ladder? I think that bug is no more
 
Nope... With atma and an endless suply of runes i've found that around 50% of the times an eth zerker will keep the zod or eternity indestructebility.. and yeah it's not beta!
