@T72on1 Funny, I had just noticed and started reading your post in the daily when you wrote this reply. Well, huge congrats sir! That sounds like one hell of a run. I didn't realize how common it is to stop and recuperate throughout the run (although it makes complete sense) - nice to get some first hand insight into runs of that distance/difficulty. Must be a great feeling of accomplishment!

I broke my leg in a jiu jitsu tournament, both bones and now i've got a permanently plated leg like a sweet as robot. Was out of state helping my parents after flooding and there just happened to be a tournament on while i was there. why not i say? it'll be fun.
to be fair it was fun, and it was a split second bad decision on the other guys part that did me in.
To make it the best story and me a legend at my local hospital I still took home the gold.
Not at all worth it but makes it a way better story.

I had 2 months paid sick leave and the rest has been paid long service. There was an issue with the leaving boss not bothering to put in the correct forms but I did some yelling so that got fixed.
