Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

Yes, that's one good thing. Seriously, I've kept my house at like 60 degrees (Fahrenheit of course) and it's awesome! And I can watch all the shows she never wanted to watch, and not watch all the crap that always made me fall asleep.

But seriously, it's Friday! Doing a little shopping now and then I'm going to get some alcohol.

Not to be too much of a debbie downer but do keep in mind that you're now responsible for all the house chores, remembering to pay the bills on time, all the cooking, etc., so self-discipline is a must. Without it, you'll go from empowered stag to neckbearded sh*tlord in a matter of months.

With that short warning out of the way: Welcome to Freedom, Brother Kegs.

Other than kegs and I, who else is hyped about Afterbirth?

Me, but I won't be able to play it until next summer. Too busy with other stuff.

At the moment, my shop almost looks like a scene out of BOI. Buckets of fake blood and latex viscera everywhere. All that's missing are some rubber dog turds and flies.

Yes, although I already did most of the chores besides cooking. And I like a clean and well maintained home, so it's in good shape. But thank you for the welcome!
I've been out of the loop for a little while, but from a female's standpoint, Afterbirth sounds completely disgusting.
It is disgusting, probably part of the appeal or something.

I made my very first Halloween pumpkin carving this year. I R PROUD!

Don't you carve things for a living? Subsequently I did not carve a pumpkin for the first time in many many years and I couldn't be happier!

And I am apparently immune to hangovers! Go me!

mix a whole bunch of alcohols inside you. then come tell me you are immune to hangovers.
My pumpkin was a batman pumpkin. I only had one lot of trick or treaters turn up, before the pumpkin was lit mind you, but I was in the shower so they missed out and I got to keep all the candy for myself.

There's less house chores though.
Well there was in my case. As I've said before, my ex bf is a nice guy and we split up the best way we could - it was sad but there was no anger and hardly any resentment. But nice though he is, gosh were we different persons. Without going into detail, apart from having less washing to do, I also suddenly found that I had not that many chores left to do since I'm rather fastidious thus saving me a lot of work.

Cooking was also easier. Never had to think or wait for someone to come home, and if I am not in the mood I can quickly cook up a small meal. Less dishes.

No more snoring! It's not nice to say, and esp with my nightmares it can be nice having someone beside you, but having snorefree nights is invaluable. I sleep better on my own.

I also find I have far less chores to do now that I moved out.

The only thing I feel ill prepared for is shopping. Finding some things is harder than I expected, and asking an employee for help is obviously out of the question!
