Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

Oh, and thanks for the extra info. Yeah, as said, I don't want an official document (which I have to write) describing the use of our equipment to have instructions that could lead to harm - especially when there's a method which negates the chance of that harm occuring.
There's some risk where PPE has to be implemented, but as to this, why write down the method which has a (low, but still possible) chance of serious injury. And I don't particularly want to have that low chance of getting acid splashed over me.

So, Nix, how was Zombie Strippers?

I was tired so I sent it to the set top box's hard drive and I'll watch it today. The first half hour or so was great, in a bad movie type of way!

Any other bad movies you could recommend? Especially ones that are intentionally bad that they are funny, even in a painful to watch sort of way?

No, I didn't watch it. I heard that it was just a bad movie. :D Look up Piranhas 3D (film) on wiki. It looks like it's a combination of several movies. :)

Well, my boss just went, so now I'm bored and alone in the office. With absolute crap to do. I need to write a procedure for prescribed burns, based on very limited experience, and scrambled, jumbled, and barely relevant notes. Oh well.

I'll have to check that out when I get home. I can't exactly start watching YT at work.

The Gods Must Be Crazy II - that is one insane movie to watch. I didn't know whether it was intentionally bad for quite a while. I didn't know whether I was meant to laugh, cringe or facepalm. It was stupid, but oddly entertaining with a group.

So, motivate me to write this procedure. Please?

Lunch time - then I might read some more GoT. Nearly finished book 3.

Poor Dry. I've spent so many work days like that. I told them at the interview this week that I want to be busy. They seemed to like that.

Kudos on getting to book 3. I quit at the end of book 2. I just lost all ability to care. :s

Really? What drew you away from the series? (Just the books, or show as well?) I'm quite enjoying the books, but I am a fan of good mythology/fantasy to begin with.

The challenge is that normally I'm outside, physically moving about with work. Now, we've got nothing on, so I'm stuck writing office documents. It's mind-numbingly boring sitting in front of a PC when all you're meant to do is type up documents, and needs serious motivation.

We've got "a lot" to do, but it still isn't much. It wouldn't be enough to cover a full day. I have to do at least 1 of 3-4 documents, basically to show I've done something, but have already gone through a few others, and one remaining is started as well. I'd like to be working outside again.

I know the whole series over in a few months. It really spoiled the TV series though.

I've got some motivation for you Dry, after lunch start work or I'll perform a striptease. Not a pretty sight!

Aww, thanks for the cuddles, I need them. :)

Why did I quit on the books? I quit on all books! But seriously I felt like the story was just getting bigger and bigger and no sign of resolution, everyone has the same name, I couldn't keep track of them all, the chick with the dragons wasn't getting anywhere, the zombie vampire things weren't getting enough air time, they MURDERED a dog, and bad stuff happens to kids. So I gave up.

Lol Nix!

I'm making progress, but it could be such a large document if one wanted to include everything. These documents aren't supposed to be large, as no one would bother to read them if they were. But there's a couple of massive documents with good info in them. Well, 1hr20 to go.

I'll comment on the last post when I get home. I have something I shouldn't post, but it's the bets time for it. The comment just reminded me of it.

Eh, I will comment. Books are great. GoT and other books. I do agree that you can get lost in the characters and details though. It starts off introducing so many characters and plots.
I want to read the 4th book while watching the 4th season (GoT comes out next month I believe), but I can basically guarentee I'll fall behind in the books. Plus, they aren't quite as linear as they were initially and have a number of differences.

*cuddles stripteasing Nix*
It didn't really motivate me, but I appreciate the effort.

Awww, totally abandoned.

At least I go home in just over 30 mins. I've basically done that one draft doc I had to, and will go over it tomorrow in case I think of anything new. And there's two more documents (one of which is kinda done already - I have some good resources on it, and it's a fairly simple one anyway. The other one, I have the manual I can get most of the info out of anyway, so should be able to finish those off quite easily. And then, who knows.

Night night, BPC.
