@MLM: Liking the 'tar. Have a MOUNTAIN DEW! on me.

I'm slightly tired. Looking forward to working with the girlfriend for a few hours today, after she just left my house. Apparently a newly-promoted manager let his girlfriend (who also works there) sleep on the floor of the front counter during an overnight graveyard shift. Why the heavens she wouldn't sleep in the staff room if it came to that extreme, but he is being disciplined. It's far too ridiculous-sounding to be hilarious, then I laughed anyway.

My solicitor sent me a cheque for £1800 because they still hadn't finished settling the accounts on my father's estate. This makes me feel less guilty about spending £300 on clothes in Cardiff, and also goes some way to actually giving me a chance to go to the US.

Started downloading the Fallout 3 expansion packs, three of them anyway. I forgot how painfully slow my connection speed is. Sigh.

I'm back from my workout. I'm spent. Today we did some more fighting-y stuff during the second session(I was in 2 trainings in a row). Need sustenance. I hope my muscles don't ache tomorrow, like they did last week.

@Pijus : 4 the Third freaking time!!! Hows b.net going?

Everyone is out drinking until.... I´m home 8 weeks sober kind of boring.

Maybe Energy Drink run, stashes of them low 4 the moment

*hit last glas of it*

Congrats on 8 sober weeks, 666!

Myself, I was working on 28 sober hours, but then decided I better have a LongHammer. Yum.

And what kind of person sleeps on the floor at a Fast Food restaurant? Apparently, ******s from Cornwall, that's who. Jeez. And that is a ridiculous story, FE, and absolutely hilarious. I guess the patrons of that particular micky's should be happy there wasn't any non-sleeping hanky-panky going on behind the front counter (or on the line where the flunkies build the big macs, so that's a blessing. . .

So my nerves are still crawling on me, but I now have a plan, of sorts. . . hopefully I can actually stick to said plan, and hopefully said plan will actually work. *fingers-crossed*

So. LongHammer in hand, I sit. I'm actually thinking of firing up D2. . . Hummm. . .

I think you'll really like them! I have already played through Operation Anchorage and The Pitt. I appreciate the new weapons and such, but the gameplay itself was just...blah. Point Lookout is incredibly cool, however; and I love how Broken Steel continues the main storyline.

@JayGun: Also, apparently the guy involved (the manager boyfriend) was reading in the office for four hours, as I said before, with the gossip that was said about me earlier this year, I'm keeping my mouth shut. I'm not going to ask what that swear word is you're censored, I think it's better left to the imagination. She's set her Facebook status to something along the lines of "**** you all and your ****ing chinese whispers" [expletives removed to abide forum rules and protect Thy's delicate ears].

I'm on a quest to buy real beer that isn't Fosters and doesn't taste like a monkey relieving himself in a rusty wishing well. Tonight I have failed. I was going to stay sober, but work was very stressful. No one talked like a pirate on National Talk Like A Pirate Day, and staff treated the restaurant more like an episode of the Jeremy Kyle show today which slowly killed my spirit through a series of metaphorical kidney punches, before their health-and-safety-recommended non-slip shoes slowly crushed my larynx, and also made me look bad, because I was in charge of some of the little Damiens. Samantha garnered something was wrong and asked her BFF (who was in charge of the shift) to help me out, which was... a belittling experience, as you may remember I have as much love for her as the Ebola virus and that horrible change in the suspension as you drive over a cute furry bunny.

...and so I drink.

Just killed v1.09b Classic Duriel on p16 with Spudnik. I'm a HF-wannabe Sorc and he's an I've-No-Idea-adin. We're a good team. And stuff.

Take me drunk, I'm home.

Do the assassin again! The one with +3567356735 skills! She was awesome!

Have a MOUNTAIN DEW! on Durf!

I vote ama.

And the word I got censored for (but didn't expect to) starts with a 'w' and is a largely British expression that may or may not be exactly applicable to the situation. Oh well. And it sounds like you had a fabulous time at work! /jk

And another LongHammer for the JayGun, thanks. :guiness:

@MLM: I post drunk here quite a lot, the entire last week IIRC! Do another MA-sin! Loves it!

@JamesHasSixHugeGuns...InHisPants: Oh, now I get it, that's an incredibly unsubtle way of explaining that.

59% of me wants to stop playing Fallout 3, stop drinking beer and go to bed, ready for work in a few hours. 40% of me wants to drink the other four cans and watch some terrible film I won't remember when I wake up. 1% of me wants to blame Durf and the other 5% wants to improve my math skills.

<serves LongHammer>

*hands Eddie a broom, wait. . . make that a hoover, and serves 666 yet another energy drink*

And subtlety is for . . . someone other than me. and why does the filter allow bastard but disallow that w word I spoke of before? Is ****** really that much of an insult? more so than bastard? It's strange how those things work.

Woo! still on the LongHammer. . . yum!

+29 Jav skills? That would work pretty well for the melee ama I have in the works. Jeez. lvl 49 PlagueJave hits 45995-46151 (over 22 seconds) with only 5 points in synergy. . . that's ~2072/second or 83/frame. Eff. I need another beer.

I went out for a few laps around the lake in the new shoes, and once I put them both in and removed them both a few times I was satisfied that I could do it and started to see what I could do with them. I found that just simple pedaling is much different from how I was doing it with street shoes, now I'm pedaling with my toe instead of the ball of my foot. Going uphill was actually more difficult, since I'm not used to transfering the energy this way, but I am pleasantly surprised by the speed with which I can accelerate virtually at will. I was riding along at 17 mph and could, without even getting out of the seat, accelerate to 22 or 23 in nothing flat.
But things were going too well, and when I rode into the driveway to stop it caught up to me. I got the left foot out without a problem, but then the right would not come out. The brother, who was out there playing softball with the maternal unit and other sibling, looked right at me, but apparently didn't hear me ask for help. So I fell. It was very embarassing.

Nooby! How are you? And how are you liking Monk/Psych? I think Psych is great, but Monk is...not. There was a couple bright spots a few weeks ago, but these recent ones are meh.

I thought Monk was over...? I'm often wrong, though, so feel free to make fun.

You'll get the hang of dismounting with the shoes in time. The new pedaling style seems like it would be really strange, but I'm glad you've taken a shine to it already.

...Work beckons. Coffee, please.

<MOUNTAIN DEW!! for pman if he wants it>

I went to bed straight away, but for some reason woke up at 7, played FO3 for an hour and went back to bed.

@JayGun: I don't mean to be patronising but bastard is the Queen's English (a child born out of wedlock), as opposed to the other word in question which is vulgar slang
(meaning something we all do but rarely admit to)

@JayGun: Reminded me of the Simpsons episode where they find that Homer has a brother. Bart sings at the backseat: Bastard, bastard, bastard, when Marge scoffs him he just retorts that it's the proper term.

So is merry onanist the proper term for a *** ******?

Haven't been playing lately just reading various threads from this forum. Don't know if I play tonight after other activities.

I'm going to see local football(1) match and after that we might have some beers. If our team wins to celebrate and if they lose for sorrow. If it's a draw I don't know what we'll do  Give me Dr. Pepper now.
