Yeah, the all-time-old joke of foreign people about tequila. But it's true.

It smells and tastes strong, but kerosene? far from that WM. It actually tastes very good, either on the rocks or with some special soda, it's one very tasty drink. It's not fermented cactus juice, it's cactus juice indeed, just not fermented.

Bug in the bottom of the bottle!? That's only a joke for foreigners!! TRUE tequila doesn't have something like that :wink:
 
still, eating a cookie without your hands is hard too, especially if it's a big cookie...

then just what are these things? and they don't float, they sink to the bottom of the bottle. I've nver tasted kerosene, but I've smelled it... and that's the closest thing I can come to the smell of tequila... yeck
 
no, it's an agave worm, a real thing. I've seen things like them in real life and they have an honest to god creapy crawly in them. they crunch too.

edit: look at the pict, it's the same loli taken once and shown 3 times to show that you get 3 with your order. search tequila worm if you don't belive me

WM, you got it wrong. You made up a pic of an "agave worm", agave is a completely different drink from tequila, agave is the strongest thing in the world (even more than 3 vodka........ togheter) one single glass is enough to send you to bed................ or do not remember what you did after you drank it.

Indeed, the agave MAY come with the worm, but that's ONLY for very brave people, normally it's served only the drink, only brave (and stupid) people drink it with the worm. But, again, tequila is completely different from agave (yuck)
 
I didn't make anything up! north of the border "good" tequilla has a worm in the bottom of the bottle.

here's a site that talks more about it, I didn't know most of the distinctions of it, but hey, even they think it tastes like paint thinner!
