Don't get me wrong, I can sit through Fmly Gy, I just don't enjoy it. I'd rather get my back waxed than watch FG, mainly because my back needs waxing. Now if I had to sit through The Hills, or Gilmore Girls... That's a different story.


 
What can I expect, you are from England after all. I can understand not liking it, it is very topical and dry, and if you don't get all of the culture references then it would be boring.

Then again, being English...You probably think Ricky Gervais is Hilarious!
 
Please don't stereotype me based on my nationality, although well done from staying away from bad weather, cups of tea, Mary Poppins and... Ricky Gervais, apparently. Ricky Gervais is funny. He is not hilarious. Stewart Lee is hilarious.

I'm siding with FastE on Family Guy. It was great in its first three seasons. Being canceled was the best thing that ever happened to it. It reached an iconic status because the show was cut down in its prime. Once it was brought back, though... meh.

Though I will admit, kestegs, once I read the title of your youtube link I laughed out loud.

So, uh... my chimpanzee minion wasn't frightening to you guys? He had a segue, a bike helmet, the overalls... didn't you see how he almost ran down that camera man?? That's some scary stuff, my friends!!

Guess I need to work on a new master plan. ...What happens when you combine birds and hardcore rave music? Or birds and hiphop? :scratchchin:

Perhaps I didn't phrase it well. It WAS a good show. It was different, edgy, referential in new ways. My opinion of it changed once it came back, though. By the time it came back, it was already an old, tired premise. It's living off its old legacy, trying way too hard to be what it was back in the glory days.
