Ugh. I need a shot of courage. I really must contact the people that interviewed me on Tuesday, thank them for their time, and remind them how friggen awesome I am, but every time I reach for the phone I freeze up. Jeez. Get a grip on yourself, JayGun!

Iced tea for now, I suppose.

BoD - I never know how the naming works. I go out of my way to confuse myself here.
I always go "top"-string down, EADGBe, which is strings 6,5,4,3,2,1.
But I call my 'top' string the 6th, the lowest note, but highest above the ground. I think the conventional terminology is "top string = highest note = string closest to the ground."

I just can't take myself to calling the string closest to the ground, the 'top' one. I can call it the first string, but not the top. :(
 
Weird. My GF was drinking Gray Goose and iced tea a couple weeks ago. I thought she was crazy. Turns out I'm just naive.

Man, look at the mess all those random b.netters made here. Someone should clean up. ...Uh, not me, though. I didn't invite them. There's something about the image of Edward Dean Andersen & Spiderman mopping a floor that makes me smile... But when they make out, it makes me want a beer.

Fair point i'd never really thought of it this way. Fair point really. Top as in highest height not top as in highest note.

BoD - I'm pretty certain that's my personal innaccurate terminology, but it makes sense to me, until explaining it to others. ;) I need to get a new set of strings too. I'm going to learn a bit of Angus and Julia Stone - Mango Tree.
It's not a hard song, but it's catchy and a nice tune. Then I'll probably finish learning the Tristram theme properly.
 
Knackered from nine hours of Mickey D's. Drinking energy drinks as my RL friend promised to MP with me, but he doesn't finish work until 3AM. At least I'll be able to get the shimmering GC back I lent him.

Yay for Kevin Bishop! I can't wait!

And despite not knowing Etdlahq, I'm busily slurping down Long Hammers in his honor, for sure.

And, on that note, I'll have another!

Just finished dinner with mominem. I grilled up some zuchini and halibut, and momma provided some wheat berry salad. Healthy and YUM! And then mominem spent the meal alternating between telling me how tasty it was and sniping at each other. Ugh.

SO, just to get back at them in my own way, I'm going to drink beer and play D2. Ha. That'll teach 'em! :badteeth:
