"Enough strength to wear your equipment"?

No. What he describes is not a glitch. It's the normal, "legit" method of wearing your equipment without having enough base strength. It has nothing to do with glitching and it doesn't make items invisible.

Seriously.

Beetle is right. Throttle isn't.

The cause of this is that charm info gets lost on the way somewhere, so when the other player's client checks the requirements of your equipment, the stats from charms is missing.
If you don't meet the reqs without the charms for some of your items, the other player's client will think that those items are red due to too high reqs, and won't show them.

I think that's the correct explanation anyways. Could be wrong. I'm 100% positive that the charm stats are what makes you nude though.

[Edit] I guess one could call the selfsustaining str-boosting item thingie glitching too. That's not what causes nudity though.

It really depends what we're talking about here.

I'm talking about "glitching" (verb) where you intentionally use the self-sustaining strength item method. I wouldn't consider the other way glitching, because the word implies that you're doing something to cause a malfunction or unsupported effect.

I've actually never heard about the thing you mention. And I know that my blocknecro can't wear his stormshield without his anni and torch, yet I often hear comments about it. Hard to say if that's just maphackers, but still.
