Ender's Mafia Game

I was going to post a big entry to answer Pyro and try to defend myself, but I don't really see the point. My avatar does half the job and the mafia the other half. Fred already tried to veer the lynch to me twice, which I think should be proof enough. My theory on Pyro was his quarrel with Drixx on D1, same as Solar, but since Drixx already investigated them, then I assume it was for the same suspicions I had. Anyway, I'm clueless as to whom might be mafia right now considering the current madness of roles and reveals.

If you have any questions for me, I'll be logged until the end of the phase.

You could always try switching back to that cute cat picture, that helped you a ton last time.

Why did you kinda pop up out of the blue and claim Vanilla townie under little pressure, as it looked sure that FOE was going to be lynched today?
What do you think about Goryani's actions?
If you had to pick one of the lurkers listed before (Noodle, flubb, coju, Thyaid, Leo), who is the most suspicious to you and why?
Who are your other top suspects?

Well, you can't get lynched this day phase, maybe it needs more time to take effect.

Or maybe people around here are dog people? It seemed to work for flubb. Or was that a rat, I can never tell.

On an coincidental note he was mafia when he switched pictures last time if I remember correctly.

Gwaihir's "Why did you kinda pop up out of the blue and claim under little pressure?":
I have the feeling I'm on lynch priority, so I would hardly think that there is little pressure on me. If lynching me can give the town answers, I would be alright with it but I don't think it does as of now.

Gwaihir's "What do you think about Goryani's actions?"
From a certain perspective, I think it was very rash and he should have waited to see what kind of interactions Sathoris would have had when pointed as mafia. Since he was townie anyway, I think that it was a waste of a bullet. From a theoretically scum perspective, I'm surprised he hasn't been killed yet. If I were mafia he would have been my first target.

Gwaihir's "Who of (Noodle, flubb, coju, Thyaid, Leo) is the most suspicious to you and why?"
Thyaid, I find surprising that despite she seems to be online so much she has posted so little. Maybe my perception is skewed by seeing her by the sub-forum name on the front.

Gwaihir's "Who are your other top suspects?"
I don't really have anyone in mind. If my life (in the game) depended on it, I'd vote for Thyiad or Noodle.

Marginally skewed perspective. :) I was offline most of Monday; I was in Coventry for most of the day. (UK time.)

It was the start of this day phase when I knew I was definitely playing; pharphis was hoping another person would show up and take the spot. :) I read the previous day phase stuff but that's about it.

Oh and I'm off to watch Flight now, so catch you tomorrow unless I get NK'd. :D

The foul mouth language was on purpose, it was supposed to connect you to the fact that the post you received last night was mine, without informing the rest of the thread. It was obvious from your first posts this day phase which post you received so I was trying to help you connect the dots. If I didn't want you to know it was me I wouldn't have used those exact words. I see that worked out real well though. I was apologizing to Sath because I was not there for the last half of the day phase because we both knew for a 100% fact as soon as Fred made that post that he was lying through his teeth, and that we needed to get rid of him, and protect you. I thought that maybe if two people had been there saying "hey! This guy is lying!" then the day would not have resulted in a mislynch, and we wouldn't have had to use our lynch today on him.

Wait. Are you admitting that you and/or Sathoris considered faking a vigilante claim in order to get FoE lynched? With night talk like that, no wonder I thought both of you scummy.

Apparently, I have a nose for players hiding their true thoughts. I fingered the masons of the Greek Gods game as scummy. Hint to future masons: don't act like mafia.

Yeah, except the evidence was not against the person you used your ability on. Day use or not, your vig kill is beyond scummy.

Oh, it absolutely was. Sathoris was a non-participant for quite a while this game. You may have known he was town and you got to hear his sweet nothings at night, but to the rest of us he was a lurker in the game. Did anyone not in the mason chat think otherwise? Did anyone think he was pro-town?

... Alternate #2 is like 1/3 of the alive players isn't it. Damn. With another 1/3 listed above. Ok, you may have a point there.

Well looks like I am going to have to take you off my list of lurkers now after all those useful posts :P

I find the bolded part thoroughly offensive to my people.

There is no player called Thyaid.

Theriouthly?? Well then that's just thilly!!

@Goryani...found Sathoris play typical.....cryptic and intriguing

Also, I know Role madness games are not conventional, but in the two role madness games we had on this forum, both of them the mafia had the one-shot vig role, and they could be used either night or day. Therefore I don't see Gory being a scum vig as that out of the question.

Role madness games don't have this many claimed/confirmed VTs.

Could Sathoris have used the vig shot during the day? Was there ever discussion to do so?

Did anyone not in the mason chat think otherwise? Did anyone think he was pro-town?

I told you he was for certain pro-town. You pressed me on it and I told you I didn't want to say more until I heard back from the mod. Nonetheless, I told you and you ignored me and you killed a townie. You still haven't given your own name or role claim and quite frankly it seems to me that as soon as you knew for sure he was a townie, that's when you killed him.

More and more it looks like you're an anti-town vigilante. We know for sure know that Sathoris was a pro-town one, and people have been commenting that having two pro-town seems unlikely. Now that I think about it, you waited until it was pretty clear that Sathoris was a townie with a power role and then you took him out. You then refused to tell us the flip until you drew out his partner as well.

Doing the math ... you, Goryani, are scum. Make peace with whatever being you answer to because we're coming for you tomorrow.

Missed this one, go to the first unread Pyro, pay attention...

With night talk like that? What? When I was posting in the night chat, I was speaking in the perspective of the group as a whole, we needed to get fred out (because we knew the holes in his post), and we needed to protect Jason (but couldn't because it would block his ability), and the only way we could do that is by claiming the vig kill that Sathoris used. I am admitting that in the post Jason received, the only viable way I saw to ensure that FoE would have been lynched yesterday would have been to claim that Sath performed the Vig kill on Solar, but I wasn't going to put us both out in the open before discussing it with him, not that I could have anyway since I wasn't around for the end half of the last day phase.

To me he still seemed the same as always, suspicous, and conveluted, but thats how he plays every game.
