I've played with the Dream builds a bit, and the major roadblock I've encountered was AR. I build an enchantress basically pre-all the speculation in here about it, based on the Executress guide, thinking I'd use Beast in conjunction with a Dream helm. Even with a nice Raven, a dozen or so dmg/ar or AR/life charms, and Enchant up in the mid 30s. I'm torn between pumping str. for dmg or vit. for life, and dex for AR. Even still, at lv. 80 I've got about a 60% chance to hit stuff in act IV hell, which is pretty damned dangerous considering that my life is just barely creeping over 1600 in Werebear form and my resists are just below max. Granted, my build is pretty experimental and the stat allocations left a lot to be desired, but I still think that the dual Dream setups, while nice, may need a lot of work.
Maybe a better setup would look something like this:
Dream Helm
Dream Shield
Beast one-hander
Stone Armor (my current sorc has Fortitude, which is nice, but I think hitting higher FHR breakpoints might be more helpful than the dmg bonus)
Tal's or Mara's depending on needs? Maybe Highlords?
Raven
Carrion Wind (9% ll)
Verdungo's/Nosferatu's/SoE (Arach? I'd think that DR, IAS or life might be more helpful than one more skill point. Damage only helps if you're alive long enough to deliver it)
Drac's? Venom Grips? Rares w/ CB, ll, life, resists? Steelrends (would the dmg on rends outweigh the dmg +1 fire from Magefists provide?)
Gores, maybe Sandstorm Trek?
Charms--I'd go with a few fire skillers, maybe lightning depending on what I had access to--what're the pros and cons of each? Is one definetly better pound for pound? Anni, ar/dmg/life or life/resist, resist/fhr, etc scs
