Does Witch-wild String help vs Physical immunes?

If you are a werewolf and you're wielding a WWS, does that mean 20% of your damage is magical?

One of my friends is thinking about building a Werewolf to solo the ubers and I'm thinking of ways to help him overcome PI during normal play. Maybe as a weapon switch. If that doesn't work then I'm thinking of a Passion PB on switch in order to let him use Berserk instead.

Also quick question: What is the best build for a werewolf to solo Uber Tristram with? At first I recommended Fury but then I realized that the wolf would be spreading his attacks out to everybod, so perhaps Feral Rage might be better?

Also is an eth Zod'ed Ribby better than a non-Eth Shael'ed Ribby?

I think it only applies to ammunition fired, so no.

There's a Wolf Uber guide in the stickies "Ribcracker Fury Wolf".

And it depends on if you want damage or speed.

Im reading that guide and I'm kinda worried. I mean a 7 frame attack just feels so slow in comparison to what I'm used to, but maybe it's safer since a wolf has a lot more life than an assassin.

Against the ubers you probably want to proc CB more often right so you'd want speed?

As for PI, if WWS doesn't work, then perhaps a Barana Star + Tiamat's Rebuke on switch? Pretend you're an Avenger XD

An Azurewrath switch is pretty standard PI solution.

But Azurewrath has way too high of a level requirement to be anything other than a weapon you use AFTER you've beaten the game...

Reaper's Toll on the Merc is your easiest PI solution. Also, Zod'd Ribby is 6 frame not 7.

Wouldn't Witch-wild on a merc be the easiest solution? Merc won't be effected by IM, get some IAS gear and she should proc Amp pretty often.

With a stellar AR, the rogue would proc Amplify Damage approximately once every 53 attacks. With her usual AR, the curse may occur even less often.

Besides almost never procing, IM issue goes away in 1.13, making it even less useful.

Are you sure zodded Ribby is 6 frames for Feral Rage? That's not what the calculator says.

It'll be nine frames Feral IIRC. Think BJam was referring to Fury frames which are 9/6.

gravel of pains is lvl45 req 3 amp charges for your weapon switch. the str req is high 174 or something but hel would make 130 something not bad.

lol, whatever. dont knock it till you've tried it. you'd be surprised how often it goes off.

3.57 swings per second
.8 chance to hit (easy to attain)

so in one second, the chance to go off is

3.57*.8*.05=~14.28%

Not bad. There's a good chance for it to go off in 7 seconds.
