Does the ED from Rends add to Smite?

Does the ED from Rends add to Smite?

I think it does, but I just want to confirm. In another thread someone told me that off-weapon ed WILL add to smite damage, which I think would include a pair of Rends. Also, if I'm correct, would the ED from Fortitude also add to smite damage? I know Enigma is the armor of choice; I'm just getting all my questions out of the way.

That said, would Rends be a good choice for a pvp smiter, should I stick with my original notion of using Drac's, or is there a better option that I'm simply not thinking of?

dracs=lifetap if you dont have exile use dracs

i dont think thats his main question... to OP- many people consider dracs+ exile BM in pvp due to life tap, so id say stick with rends unless u need the strength from dracs. But otherwise, yes ed% does add to smite, but the LCS does not show it, like the +dmg from grief.

Ah, thanks bobo. I will be using an exile, and I didn't realize dracs+exile were considered bm. Looks like Rends is a better choice for me in that case. Of course, that ups the required str for the build and lowers the +str from items, drastically reducing my life.

Maybe I should just double up a pair of Bloodfists. :laugh:

id go with that. the miniscule ed from rends doesnt add much.

Don't use rends or dracs. Go with bloodfists or if you need ias some 20%ias stat/resist gloves.

I actually found a pair of 13 str, 20ias blood gloves I had laying around. Think I'll just use these, especially considering they have some fire res on them. :thumbsup:

All ED% outside the weapon adds to smite.
I would use blodfists for sure, the 30 fhr is really helpfull.
if you dont need the fhr, use draculs or your rare ones
