I was wondering, has anyone done the math on if a grail would fit in the shared stash + maximum number of mules? There's a maximum limit on the number of characters right?

Haven't done the math, but I don't think there's a limit for offline chars (SP). When D2R first came out I moved all my chars from D2L (50+) without any problems. Not sure what's the current situation online.
Regarding grail... If there's no limit then the answer is Yes.

Shared-Stash is... well shared by all your characters though so you can't get the space you hope since filling the three shared tabs with any items will reserve them for the rest characters as well. You have to rely only on the private stash + Mules.

It's definitely a 30 character limit on the Xbox series X. I’ve reached the limit, mostly for muling/stash purposes. My latest pally to beat Hell was originally a mule named ElumB. Also have multiple Runeboys, Baseboys, Gemboys, etc.

Alright, I was under the impression that there was a max limit on number of characters in offline play on PC too. Hence my question.
The calculation I had in mind was:
shared stash size + max number of characters x (private stash size + inventory size) > grail size?
But the calculation would be complicated by the necessary item puzzle game of course.
