diablo and other relax games

im looking for other relax games (not pvp, but where u can play allied with other players against computer), like diablo or starcraft (starcraft have too cool games against computer, not only 1v1), but NO like warcraft 3 (who is just a crap 1v1 pvp game, sure, u can play in party against computer but nobody join...).

Guild wars or Heroes 5 are good for my preferences? or tell me other games, thx. I looking only after popular games with many players online btw, and ill accept sugestion from any section (racing for ex., not only strategy)

*dont suggest me WOW plz (i saw some movies and pics and i think is a graphic for kids ) - or SIMS lol

I think he means a casual game.

Wromania - Guild Wars isn't a bad pick, but it does have a heavy emphasis on PvP. It isn't necessary, with the exception of a one-minute fight when you go from n00bland to the real game (or at least, you had to do that in the original one, Prophecies), and you can have fun running around doing things - but if you aren't into PvP that game loses some of it's lustre. Unless, of course, you're a collector. If you love to collect all the items/skills in the game (and can afford to get the original plus both expansions) then GW is a great choice. You can keep working on collecting everything for a very, very long time.

Do you like the rpg side of games or no? If you do then I would suggest trying out a nice single player rpg, it relaxes you(at least it does me). And WoW sux as an rpg game, the only reason I played(!) it was the instancing side of it. Gothic 2 and 3 comes in my mind.

thx, anyway my question was clear, i want a game where i can ally with other players against computer (not pvp). The best example is Starcraft, where, only in usa gateways, not in the ...comunist europe:yikes: , i can find that kind of games, even if the majority play starcraft for his pvp part.

so i ask again, GW, Gothic or other games u know have this multiplayer option - against computer? i dont want games who have this option but nobody like or use it (like w3)

Actually, in the newest installment of Guild Wars there are "heroes" which are really good computer-controlled allies that have pretty caused the downfall of cooperative play.

Tried Rappelz yet? It's a free MMO and it's pretty fun. I've been playing it all this week. I solo'd my way to level 15 and joined a party later to do several other quests, now level 16. Check it out, you might like it. :wink3:

Well I am a big fan of the Heores series, so if you ever get into Heroes 5 give me a shout.

It would have been great if they came out with a Heroes version similar to D2, meaning the 3rd person top down view. But inhabit the lands with creatues from the Hereos universe etc..

Sadly, as a Heroes of M&M since version 1, I was sorely unimpressed with Heroes 5 to the point I have since deleted it from my laptop. I found the AI just to be completely awful. It wasnt as much an inteligent AI as a cheating AI. That to me just got annoying, and not competitive at all.

I still haven't played 4, I got a little jaded after 3DO milked 3 for all it was worth...

4 was a little different, your hero could participate in battles and the way that they leveled up was much cooler.

5 is very much like 3, but with much improved graphics. There are some interesting options you have if your hero is native to a particular town, such as equpping special artifacts to your creatures and being able to upgrade your creatures to a higher tier. Unfortunately there are a lot less spells and artifacts, but I think Ubisoft did quite well with 5.

But even though another company worked on it, If you didn't like 3, I don't think you will like 5.

Gothic is a sp rpg and unfortunately it doesn't have a mp option. G4 will be mmorpg though.

I hated H4 but loved the H3 series. SoD was the best. WoG was ok until they made it so friggin complicated. Haven't tried out H5 yet though. I dont think my PC could handle it.

Actually I loved 3, it's just that 3DO kept releasing more and more expansion packs with bugger all extra content just to milk me for money... I went and bought them, but only from bargain bins, so screw you 3DO.

I'm mostly annoyed at what they did to M&M though. After 6 they went downhill, IX was a travesty. I'm really glad another company is doing them now.
