diablo 2 error...can't complete ancients.

it's happened 3 times in a row now and i'm about to punch my ****in computer it keeps giving me this shorty after i kill 1 of them...it rolls me back to the same exact spot every time too. this is on single player and i'm not using any mods.

Are you playing an assasin? I've read(at this forum ) CoS makes the game crash at ancients(if you use it on them).

As Pijus said, can you give some more detail? What character are you playing? What skills? Which of the Ancients are you killing and then getting the diablo failure?

it works now , he was correct about the cloak of shadows bugging it.
