Decrepify + Sanctuary

Is Sanctuary still broken? I understand you only get the pulse damage and the ignore physical resistance part. If it is broken, is it likely it wil be fixed in the new patch?

How does the physical resistance part exactly work? does it set the monsters resistance to zero? Does it also work for party members?

How does this work in combination with Decrepify? If I fight an undead monster with 50% physical resistance, will it first be reduced with 50% by decrepify (making it 0%) and then set to zero by sanctuary (doing nothing), or will it first be reduced to 0% by sanctuary and further reduced by decrepify to -50%

Re: Decrepify + Sanctuary

Yep, it's still bugged. And I doubt they'll fix it for 1.13 (I read that they weren't planning on any bug fixes for that release, though that's been a few months and I didn't hear it from Blizzard directly, so I could be wrong).

For the resists, it resets the monster's resists to 0 after the curse. So if the monster started with 25% resists and got decrep'ed, having sanctuary would actually be bad because it resets the result from -25 back to 0. Edit: ah, thanks onderduiker.

Sanctuary only works for the person "wielding" the aura, so your merc & minions (and party members) need an alternative for PI undead.

Sanctuary only reduces Undead to Damage Resist 0% if DR > 0%: if Undead have Damage Resist 25% and are cursed with Decrepify (DR -50%), then they remain at DR -25% after Sanctuary is applied.
