Well i figured this would come soon, isn't it about every year they reset ladder?
And I just got a build put together to try some HC ladder with.
Anyways I think some softies should come play some Hardcore Ladder.
Would be nice for blizzard to fix TPPK and all.

Why would they ruststorm and then reset? Seems redundant.
This is exciting as always, though, without a patch I doubt it will be enough to bring me back to the game. Last reset was made pointless in a matter of days. With no patch this time will be the same.

Nice - but as with the last reset i will miss the first 2 weeks of the new ladder because i'm on vacation

It might sound nothing but imo it's the very first days after the reset that are much fun

honestly I hope they do a FULL ruststorm, not only will everyone on ladder be starting new, but it would clear out EVERYTHING that isnt legit on all the nonladder servers

which would be going a big step towards cleaning up what most ppl view as a botched economy (I really dont think its as bad as most, but still I'm all for ruststorms, since it keeps things legit)

but yeah I'm a bit bummed about the reset too, I JUST starting playing again recently and was hoping for another 2 year ladder, but alas no such luck, at least I'll be able to get in on a new one if I so choose

I'm displeased too. I really don't like that some of the best runewords are ladder only. I've got a small bit of wealth and now I won't be able to use it make ladder runewords. I don't see the point of the ladder.

Pretty simple. Socketable prices will start skyrocketing now, and everyone will want to make as much ladder runewords as possible. Spirit packs will becaom invaluable now :whistling:

Too bad I just sold all my Thul runes -.-'

DUDE I AM BUMMED

I was planning on another year to use my duelers...now all their gear is worthless as they head into Dupeland (i.e Non ladder)

Great...everyone has 3/20/20s and hacked boots and all perf gear...man F@** this reset!

And 6 month resets? Whats the point? They had better fix the Bot epidemic or I may hang it up
 
Now that ladder resets on the 17th..

what are your plans about it?

For me, I hope there is some indication of a patch or some changes before I would even reinstall the game. I've pretty much ran out of things (the legit ones anyway) to do even in the current ladder, and to think that it is going to be the same thing all over again? oh well

I'm glad we finally know how the future will look like. I haven't restarted on ladder because I though it were going to reset, now atleast I know that I made the right decision and I can restart in the summer vacation.

RIDICULOUS. Just finished my two great chars, took so much effort and they are going to be moved to some useless realm.

well i just got my chars up and running and had small wealth, but i'll start anew since i've only been playing for 3 weeks now, after a long break from D2

i just got started, but only spent like 3 days on my character.

HOPEFULLY this will revive classic hardcore... as it is dead as nintendos beaten mario horse

I don't wanna play non ladder:( It's cheat/dupe heaven there.
This really blows.

i just finished my barb today.... he has been 92 since mid august, and most of his gear is from around that time.


just got him a 1668 archon fort, perfect defence 29 res, and upgraded my arreats and gore riders though, but oh well. he will just be there for bored pvp as he always has been there for me.

Haha just my luck. Luckily I only spent about a month here again so it's not that bad to restart I guess. I refuse to play NL, it's full of evil! Besides this will actually be the first ladder I experience from the beginning. Who knows, it might be fun ;)
