hehe, I never thought I would ever be so lucky to start on a fresh ladder.
Too bad the duped runes will appear very soon, and bring the game to the state it is now. Why can't they just make that dupe-check that is done for items for the runes in the runewords... it simply boggles my mind.
I suppose many of the guide would be pointless now. I wonder who's gonna start with an auradin or a WW barb :smug:

feels like a few months too soon. I just started over in hardcore but now I feel I need to experience sc at the new ladder again.

About the reset. I've started over so many many times so I don't have a tough decision letting go of my precious pixels. Then again this time I just started like 1 week ago.
I'm thinking of starting a javama as my first char. Just to be different.Then maybe a blizzballer. All this IF I have time.

Nah, ofcourse they will be better faster. But, if you start from beginning you have the chance to be one of those guys, right? Just find like a perfect coa the first week and you'll have like 5k ^^.
I don't understand why ppl think it's a fresh start. It's not. jsp users will insta-buy shopped/duped items for their 10-50k reserves of forum gold and dominate the newbs once again. So the rich will remain rich and well equipped, while the poor will become clueless beggars again
Moreover.. they'll buy some gear and set their bots, so they can get more stuff and sell them when its most needed.. like, shakos (worth ~ist at ladder start iirc), for instance. So they will get even richer.
If you enjoy playing this game it's ok.. Ladder reset is fun for many reasons.. but don't say it makes rich and poor equal. it does not :whistling:

Unless they fix the bots, everything will be ruined in 1-2 months.
Everyone who is talking about making X character for Meph runs, etc...you are all delusional. You cannot compete with a Bot who runs 24 hours a day and has pickit.
Some people have 4-5 bots and multiple CD keys!!!
Now tell me how 'wealthy' you are agonna be when your Sorc finally finds a shako...and it only fetches you a few Pgems ?
Unless they fix the bots, everything will be ruined in 1-2 months.

I'm thinking... maybe I should change my "attitude" towards the game.
I might start hardcore, or maybe I'll just stick to classic (hardcore).
Definitely non-ladder doesn't work for me, I'd rather play single player (which gives me a new idea...:scratchchin:... so many options)

2 out of my 4 hellforges were Ist.
I would take me a week to get an ist for sure, I just need 2 make 2 decent chars (one in classic and one in LoD), then rush mules to hell until I get the ist, thats is if I don't want to MF for shako first.

Awesome! I've been waiting forever!
Maybe they'll finally release a new version with the reset? I've been waiting for the release of a new version that doesn't require a the Diablo II disk, like the other games that are available for download in the Blizzard Store.

one thing to add.. if you've found it too hard to start accumulating d2jsp forum gold, this is your chance. just find the first HR and get 4k fg :--D
low useful runewords will go for nice too, think insights and spirits when no one has them yet.

People are more concerned of loosing all their godly pvp items , then getting a fresh start.I dont see why so many cry about this ladder reset.Aren't you tired of tons of hrs duped , godly items that make the game so easy.Where is the fun when you finish Diablo2 without a sweat ? I think this is the reason of ladder reset , a new challange for the players.Stop whining and start to realise that nothing lasts foverer.

Ladder reset Question.
Well, now that the ladder is being reset it's raised a few questions for me.
I have a lvl 85 Summoner, which I have worked very hard at getting, I have made a list of the items I desired, you know enigma, Heart of The Oak, all sorts of things, however now that the reset is happening, I understand my Character will now move to Non-Ladder.... Does that mean I will no longer be able to make Enigma, and HOTO as I've heard these are ladder Runewords... also will I be able to do the Ubers, as this is something myself and a frind of mine have been looking forward to doing.
I don't want all the work I've put in to become useless... also finally a really nooby question, how does the ladder work, and how do I progress up it?
