Crescent Moon weapon choices

Hi All,

I'm making a Crescent Moon weapon for my tesladin... this is in SP HC, and I don't have access to a three-socket phase blade (and I haven't managed to find one through trading at that forum, since most people there are SC players).

Anyway, I'm looking for what my best options are for alternate base weapons... any suggestions? One-handed weapons only, please.

Thanks.

Small Crescent seems fitting ;)

Zerker Axe would do, as would a Cryptic sword.

// crap - saw someone beat me to it.

Speed is of the essence, so the faster the better. The main idea behind using a Phase Blade beside the fact that it doesn't need repairs, is its base speed of -30. Go for the weapon with the fastest base speed so you can eventually reach 4 or 5 FPS zeal. Going to town every so often to get your weapon fixed can get annoying so durabilty could have a certain weight in you decision. Zeal is certainly a hard on weapon durability. Making it in an elite weapon would certainly be better but it's not a must. Leveling and beating the game in SP can certainly be a pain and items can be hard to come by so you might have to make the rune word in an exceptionel version or even normal version of your chosen weapon. It's not like it matters much for a Tesladin since most of the time the damage dealt comes mainly from your aura and not from the weapon itself.

I have a 3-socket Rune Sword, but I've been trying to hold out for a Cryptic or Phase Blade. I'll also have to keep looking for a Berserker. Thanks for the suggestions.

You could run the pit.

It shouldn't take long to get a normal no socket phase. Then use the socket recipe for the cube and hope for three sockets. I've made several three socket phases that way.

Phase blade in you inbox :)

If you get 4 sockets, it would be a decent " passion" aswell.

Cheers

I was thinking of starting a new zeal Paladin myself now that I finally got an UM. I have a 3 socket zerker and a 3 socket phase blade & just couldnt decide on what to make it in. I think Im going to use the phase blade. What other gear would you guys suggest?
