Create Your Own Role Mafia game

We seem to have a Moar vs Bad Ash thing going here, yet Bad Ash has completely backed off Moar. They both accuse each other of being in cahoots with others. Am I just being wishful in thinking that they are both scum, and Bad Ash has the past laugh? Maybe it is too far fetched and my imagination needs some help.

Caluin Graye answering for Gwaihir now are we???

Where do you get that from, flubbster?

I do not assume that Dr. Frank, Kingmaker, or Driver are town. I assume if they are mafia, they are likely to play along if the town agrees to the plan, because if they don't, then they get lynched after claims are made.

For example:
Kingmaker doesn't claim - We find out who it had to be and lynch him the next day.
Dr. Frank doesn't switch - As soon as we see king still in the game, and no dead role is, we lynch him
Bus moves target - Why would a townie drive a declared kingmaker (ok, so this plan does not work well if the king is a confirmed townie)? We find a dead role in the game with the kingmaker still in, we lynch the bus driver.

While this plan is solid in theory, in practice you'll find that even if someone is town and their lynch will help win the game for their team, they don't want to follow through with it. Mainly because it's more fun to play than it is to sit in the penalty box (AKA, dead thread).

Also, reference back to what I said on day one about 'convoluted plans emerging'. (Post #82).

A dead townie is not good for me. A failed town lynch is - which is could have happened if Mal came back. You seem very sure Mal is a townie, even though you were willing to vote for him - even claiming to attempt to lock him. If Mal came back in the endgame, could you trust him? Or would you use another day relynching him to get his alignment?

I take this to mean that you believe MartinLong is more townie than Malevolent?

This hsn't been answered yet?

If you want the ridiculous answers and picture posts to stop, I suggest reading what I post instead of trying to further suspicion on me by bringing up posts trying to make me look bad.

:waves hand:
I am not the scum you're looking for. Move on or start trying to convince others of my scumdom instead of asking me questions cause I am over it.

I think this plan is good. It works much the same like the "skip the night phase" plan did. It obviously did not convince you of Gwahir's towniness, but it sure put a heck of a lot of pressure on him to act in a town manner. And if he didn't, we would have good cause to lylnch him.

I see your post #82, and I don't think we can confirm town by removing the kingmaker, but we can prevent the scum from using it (or accidentally getting it) and prevent scum from miming it by getting rid of it. So far we know all the roles that are left, so we are in a good position to get dr frank and kingmaker to work out the kinks. And there would be no excuse for bus driving shenanigans, either because the kingmaker (dr franks target) would be known. And I guess we should have dr frank target Mal to bring back Paris Hilton over meet joe black? Not sure on that detail of this plan. We just need dr Frank to stay quiet on who he is. No lynches have to take place to get rid of the kingmaker, lynches are only encouraged when someone inexcusably doctors (hehe, pun) with the required outcome.

nope, you are dead on. Everyones crazy theorys are right! Throw the franklin on the list. If everyone with a crazy theory is scum that makes me and him in cahoots too. or is that too far fetched? Tin foil hats for all!

You could just answer the question. I have so far answered every question even if it made me look scummy and got me a vote. I do this because I am town and if I get lynched the rest of the town can go back and read my answers and it might help them to catch scum.
You are avoiding answering and post pics instead. That'll help the town how much?

Answered the question or else I would. You don't want to go find it, not my problem, you already are voting for me, I don't owe you a second answer. Dont make me tin foil you again!

No you didn't. What's so terribly wrong with answering his question directly?

Wow that was fun to wake up to.

Caluin Graye, my comment was meant to convey a lack of direct claim from Gwaihir.

Note: still no direct Day 2 claim from Gwaihir....in spite of the supposed obviousness claim by the distributor of tin foil chapeau.

Who do you call 'tart' so often that your autocorrect overrides one of the most common words in the English language?

Wouldn't you like to know.

I find it hard to believe they are both scum, although they both feel like scum right now.

I had a good lol about the hats. But I've spent far too much time in the D3 community forum so I get it.

And yea, I like the get rid of the kingmaker role plan.

And while BA does not claim last laugh today I wonder if he is the spammer, he's been far more vocal today. I haven't counted today but I feel like he's in front right now.

Sathoris, you were never the kingmaker you were just made king. I guess that clears up some of the mechanics of the role for me. I thought there was a direct relation to the role being passed down from player to player.

You got the privilege of changing the lynch target.

I simply used the process of elimination to determine his role. Since he was the last one to claim, seemed pretty obvious which one he was, right? Sort of like what you said when you were the final person to claim on Day 2.

Note that my process was wrong and I put down the wrong role for him. That's what I get for slapping it together at the last minute while I'm walking out the door.

Also, check post #527 for his role claim.

For some reason, when I first read his plan, I thought he was suggesting we lynch Kingmaker today. Having reread his plan, I realize now that's not what he intends, which makes me more supportive of it.

Oh and there is no king today.

Okay this means no one will be subverting the lynch?

This is the other quote from flub. Someone who has claimed to have lists of all players and roles, doesnt have a sent PM to know when he sent in the BFF request? Not hard evidence, nothing I have said is because we dont get any in mafia games most of the time. Just more WIFOM on top of the WIFOM he has already spewed about SI and the BFF

I am quoting these two to show it is not the easiest thing in the world to know what the heck is going on with these roles and randomization. Being a lynch candidate because I didnt come forward immediately and say "Of course the politician role is still in the game" is borderline ridiculous.

I have room for 10 PMs in my box Mr. Purpleman. So making sure there is always room for Goryani's next message telling me I've broken the rules (again) or my next role PM is keeping me deleting not WIFOMing

My suggestion was a while ago, so it seems possible it was not read/forgotten. After I revealed I was Dr. Frank on Day 1, I proposed the person who gets it today (D3, after the cooldown) could use it to remove the kingmaker form the game. I am not proposing we lynch the kingmaker to remove him.

If the kingmaker is brought back after it is removed, then we have caught ourselves a mafia once a townie receives it. And if we lynch or mafia kill Dr. Frank, then it is out for good. Can you think of a better use for Dr. Frank's power tonight?

I made sure that someone the town decided to lynch stayed dead. Yes, we don't have his alignment - but we would not have gotten that anyways unless he was brought back to the game and lynched/killed again. I also brought back a role that has a weak form of NK immunity - someone killed with last laugh is most likely to be townie, and can be brought back if we catch the mafia who killed him.

Also, if Mal was mafia, do we want to give mafia a 2 person swing? Assuming the last person to vote him was town, then mafia killing that townie brings back a mafia. Does this scare you as much as it did me? Or are we getting to one possible reason why you did not want to be the last person to vote for Mal?

I need more 'splaining regarding how this Frankenstein/Kingmaker thingy will work out.
