Crappiest item around?

The entire Heaven's Brethen set. Not once have I ever put on any piece of that thing.

Steelshade Armet

Stormspire Giant Thresher

hahahaha, very true....although on a hell mule who i had no gear on, i somehow got the whole set just for laughs and he now wears it.

Pretty sure Evrae Altana or Xenon[KoA] has a picture of a 6 Zod Phase Blade. Just wondering... can you make a Fury out of Wirt's Leg?

my vote goes to steel carapace the unique shadow plate. Get past the 230 strength req and you get a ton of crappy mods.

and pus spitter.

Crappiest item? Simple. +1 to light radius jewel. Crappiest. Item. Ever.

Nope, you can use it for crafting.

Any sort of charm/ring can be used for cash for untwinked chars as well.

I vote for the 0 gold pile. There's no situation under which picking it up would be useful.

I think Templars is pretty usless, its rare, has 232 str,and the mods arent attractive.
I vote Templars.

And i dont think eth items should be "suspected" to be on top of this list, eth stuff pwns non eth :P

You thought this thread was dead, did you not?

Didnt this thread leave you with a sneaky suspicion that everything wasnt quite right... It didnt??
Anyways, ive found the most useless item. The zero gold pile comes close, but the co0lness of it is too high.

Thats why i present you this:

You get a whopping 4 gold for selling that, thats 0,75 per square. All potions/charms/whatever sells for more.
Cracked daggers can fill an inventory better.
Only usable by assassins, and they have a better one by default.

Im unsure of how/if crude or cracked changes the properties and sell value of the item, thats why i would need a screenshot of a cracked katar. I havent seen one, or if i have, i havent thought about it. The sheer crappiness of the item was probably registered by my brain and i subconsciously ignored it.

So yea, a cracked katar is the crappiest item around. Prove me wrong.

edit: Its actually 1 1/3 gold per square. Imagine that.

You can put it on your merc which doesnt have a weapon at all. Nice try though. How much gold do you get for selling a cracked short bow?

Apart from that, a katar gets 2 sockets from Larzuk, so with 2 Ber runes you can kill Übers with it all too easily ! A dagger gets just one socket.

I just can't imagine what kind of weirdo would stick 2*BER on such a katar  :badteeth: !! Maybe someone who's very, very, very bored ...

Hmm. Dual claw assassin...

We can agree that all items can be used to something. Be it sticking ber in it and go uber hunting or whatever. I still think the cracked katar is the least used... Only 1 in 7 chars can even use it at all and the one that could use it has a better one. And it would only be used at all if the char uses 2 claws. And the player would need to throw away his buckler.

The dagger on the other hand has better packing abilities, sells for more gold and it can be used by all chars. Katar > dagger.

This is a serious matter guys! :wink2:
