Im just not entirely certasin about the shield since i would be using es. i guess i need a 30/20 4s monarch :s

Storm shield is always a good thing to have.

drawback that i ve noticed: why sc with resists? unless poison resists that goes straight through es, but i think life/mana mana/fhr sc would be better IMO.

other wise, JMOD monarch with 4 RTF facets should be okay. i cant remember full stats on top of my head, but IMO SS would be a little bit better for fact of having DR and Res that getting calculated after ES is down...

just calculate how much STR you shall need for MB and ask your seld a question, is MB worth having 1k less mana?

but if you constantly duel VS amazons and barbs with wolfs, i suppose it is, other wise i dont think its worth it, but thats just mine opiniom.

over all, it shall work ( just change your inventory, forget about your resists, you are ES sorc and ES calculate damage at 0% res, your actual resists being calculated into damage after ES is down )

If i were you i might go with a jewelers/artisan's tower shield of deflecting... you lose 1 cold facet, but you'd save 60 str and about that many HR's (or more, actually? can you even get a jmod for 60 hrs? ).

according to this, roughly 1 in 5107 tower shields is artisans/jewelers of deflection. thats not too bad, should only take a few hours of shopping to find one.

put that 60 str you save str into energy for some better mana. also tower shields have 2% more block than monarchs, so you'll save a small ammount of dext also.

You going to put 16 hard points into es? That sounds like a lot ... you will lose quit a bit of damage as you miss out on maxing a second synergy. I personally dont like Blizzard ES, if I want ES I would make Orb, because the nature of the Blizzard spell screams 'max all synergies and cold mastery'.

I would get an fcr ammy and switch Nightwings for a 3/20/2 or 20fcr 2 open socket tiara, reaching 8fpa casting (very useful in duels against hammerdins ghosts and bvc's). As long as you got Ormus and DFathom, the damage loss from switching Nightwings to a 2 socket +2 or +3 circlet with 2x facets is very minimal. Yes you lose some dex, but you can use rare dex boots or waterwalk and some 6 dex skillers to make up. IMO, 8fpa should be the breakpoint to aim for.
